Teaching material is the carrier of curriculum,which directly affects teachers’teaching and students’ learning.As an important part of teaching materials,the example plays an important role in training students’ ability to solve problems,helping students master basic knowledge and skills,and understanding mathematical thinking methods.The educational circles pay more attention to the mainstream teaching materials,such as the People’s Education Edition and the Beijing Normal University Edition,and pay less attention to the local Qingdao edition.In this paper,219 examples of "number and Algebra" in junior high school mathematics textbook of Qingdao edition are selected for research.The research on the example is divided into the following four parts:The first part:through literature review and comprehensive reading of teaching materials,this paper focuses on the analysis dimensions of example questions in nine dimensions:quantity,question type,openness,difficulty,solution process,illustration,prompt,small data and gas station.The second part:according to the text analysis framework of the example,the paper studies the combination of quantitative statistics and qualitative analysis of the example,and obtains the characteristics of the example in all dimensions.The third part:conduct a questionnaire survey and interview to the front-line teachers who use Qingdao edition of junior high school mathematics teaching materials.Then collate and analyze the questionnaire and interview results,draw the teacher’s approval of the example,the use of the situation and the preparation of comments and other relevant conclusions.The fourth part:comprehensive quantitative statistical results and qualitative analysis conclusions,combined with teachers’ questionnaire survey and interview results are used to get the characteristics of Qingdao junior high school mathematics textbook "number and Algebra" under the example analysis framework,and finally get the research conclusions and research suggestions.The conclusions are as follows:The type of example questions is relatively simple,and teachers generally agree that the type of questions needs to be further enriched;of 219 examples,only 17 are open,and teachers have the lowest degree of approval for the openness of the examples;examples without background level account for 75%of the total examples,and teachers generally agree with the background level of the examples.The research suggestions are as follows:1.Contact the upper knowledge to help students build the knowledge system.2.At the same time,some innovative questions are added.3.To increase the proportion of open examples,we should not only pay attention to the number of open examples,but also consider the types of open examples.4.Increase the connection between examples,life situations and other disciplines.5.Increase the proportion of problem analysis.
