With the changes in the social environment,the continuous development of inform ation technology and the arrival of the era of knowledge economy,knowledge,people c an not believe that in order to imagine the speed increasing and updating,which on toda y's education a higher goal.Therefore,in order to meet the needs of social develo pment,the state investment in education and focus on increasing constantly to cultivate more talents needed by the society curriculum.Of course,history as helping people esta blish a correct view of history and world view of an important subject,History education is particularly important in education in secondary schools.However,history class how to teach,what to teach,how to write history textbooks should be developed to integrate with the times,which is always an important issue of curriculum reform.And there is a big difference in mainland China and Hong Kong because of differences in all aspects o f the historical development,educational philosophy and curriculum standards,so that h igh school history textbook written,and the UK is an important influence on the develo pment history of China and Hong Kong of a country.Therefore,this paper selected textb ook Hong Kong and the mainland of British history regarding the contents of a compara tive study.This paper selects the Hong Kong Age Record High School History Textbook(Co mpulsory Part)and the Chinese People's Education Edition High Chinese History Comp ulsory Textbook as a comparative object for comparative study.Through the differences between the two textbooks on the history,content and narrative of British history.The c omparison shows the differences and characteristics of the texts of the two places on the history of the UK,and analyzes the main reasons for the differences.Therefore,on the basis of analysis and research,there is a relatively comprehensive and comprehensive u nderstanding of historical textbooks and history teaching in the two places.On this basis,new thinking and enlightenment on the compilation of high school history textbooks an d history teaching are drawn.This article compares the "British history" as the entry point of the textbooks of the mai nland and Hong Kong.It is mainly because the United Kingdom has a relatively large in fluence on the two places in modern times.Secondly,the UK has a relatively prominent position in the history of modern world,so how to use it in the textbook The presentatio n of British history is a manifestation of his historical philosophy,and it can also be see n from the two places on the presentation of British history in terms of dealing with the relationship between Chinese history and world history.This article mainly includes three parts:The first part:the mainland and Hong Kong high school history textbooks presente d on History of Britain contrast.By contrast clearer understanding of the differences bet ween the two exist in the selection of British history and narrative content,making it a g lobal grasp of the idea to write two textbooks,which is precisely what the research in th e past two textbooks missing.The second part:analysis of the characteristics and causes of British history prese nted in Hong Kong high school history textbooks.By comparing their features,analyze the causes of the differences,understand their own teaching materials characteristics,so learn from each other.The third part:Reflections on the mainland and Hong Kong high school history textboo k comparison and implications for teaching.Experience from the idea to write two textb ooks in the teaching of history in a new era needed something to bring students to better use in the teaching of history.The last part of the conclusion describes the differences between the two teaching materials and the causes of the differences and the enlightenment to teaching.
