With the increasingly severe employment situation in China,Employment anxiety has become a major factor in many factors affecting college students' mental health. In March 2019,during the national two sessions, the government work report first proposed the decision of "one million higher vocational enrollment expansion",and then the Ministry of Education issued the implementation plan of special work of Higher Vocational enrollment expansion on May 8,which further strengthened the employment pressure of future higher vocational college students. The purpose of this study is to investigate the current situation and main influence factors of Vocational College Students' Employment Anxiety, and to explore the role of group counseling intervention in improving Vocational College Students' Employment Anxiety,so as to put forward corresponding intervention measures and solutions for vocational college students to alleviate various adverse emotions in the process of employment.Research methods:a sample survey of 2372 vocational college students in Huai'an was carried out by using the questionnaire of Employment Anxiety of Secondary Vocational School Students compiled by Ma Lifang and the Chinese Version of Emotion Regulation Scale revised by Wang Li and others to get the current situation of Employment Anxiety and emotion regulation ability of vocational college students. On this basis, through group counseling intervention, the study explores the effects of group counseling intervention on improving the Employment Anxiety of vocational college students. The main results of the study are as follows:1.The Employment Anxiety of vocational college students has significant differences in gender, grade, family location, and family per capita monthly income.Female, rural origin, higher grade(especially the sophomore),lower family monthly income and other factors may be the causes of high-level Employment Anxiety.2.There are also significant differences in the ability of emotion regulation of Vocational College Students in gender and family economic level.Female higher vocational students have higher re-evaluation ability than male higher vocational students, while male higher vocational students have higher expression inhibition level than female higher vocational students;higher vocational students with higher monthly income per capita have significantly higher re-evaluation ability than those with lower monthly income per capita.3.The results of correlation analysis show that there is a significant negative correlation between the factors of emotion regulation ability and the factors of Employment Anxiety level, that is,the lower the students' emotion regulation ability is,the higher their employment Anxiety level is;the results of regression analysis show that gender, grade, family location, per capita income of family and emotion regulation have significant prediction on the four dimensions of Employment Anxiety Measuring effect.4.The results of the intervention study found that after the intervention, there was a significant difference in the scores of Employment Anxiety between the experimental group and the control group. The level of Employment anxiety in the factors of self-awareness anxiety, employment situation anxiety and worry about self-esteem impairment in the experimental group was significantly lower than those in the control group, while there are no significant differences for the two groups in the factors of social support anxiety. In general, according to the study the most obvious improvement of all the factors is employment situation anxiety, and then self-awareness anxiety and the worry about the damage of self-esteem,however the weakest improvement is social support anxiety. It can be seen from the above research results that there may be many factors affecting the Employment Anxiety level of vocational college students, including gender, grade, family location, family economic level, etc. In addition, the individual's good use of emotion regulation strategy can also affect the level of Employment Anxiety of vocational college students, that is,the worse the students are at using positive cognitive reappraisal, the higher the level of Employment anxiety is.The intervention study also confirms that improving the cognitive reappraisal level of vocational college students can significantly reduce their employment anxiety level. Therefore,it can be speculated that two measures can be taken when higher vocational colleges exist at a higher level of Employment anxiety. On the one hand, they can alleviate their employment anxiety by improving their emotional adjustment strategies through counseling. On the other hand,it also needs the cooperation of family, school and society, especially the support of family,to provide help for reducing the Employment Anxiety of vocational college students...
