Critical thinking is an important form of thinking and plays an important role in the growth of students.Due to the importance of taking the examination,it limits the development space of critical thinking,the curriculum standard requires less training of critical thinking,and the school lacks the activity design to cultivate critical thinking,etc.,How to cultivate students' critical thinking in the teaching of argumentative reading has always troubled the vast number of front-line teachers.In the process of cultivating students' critical thinking,teachers are not conducive to the cultivation of students' critical thinking to a certain extent under the influence of the teaching tradition with aesthetic as the coresided understanding of critical thinking.At the same time,students receptive learning habits,subconscious thinking of refusing to refute,self-centered thinking instinct,inherent knowledge reserve and cognition also affect the cultivation and development of critical thinking.Research on the integration of critical thinking into Chinese teaching,analyzing the importance and advantages of argumentative reading in cultivating students' critical thinking.A theoretical overview of critical thinking in the teaching of Chinese argumentative reading,combined with Richard Paul and Alder's Critical Thinking Tools.On this basis,this paper discusses the teaching strategies of argumentative reading based on critical thinking.A case study on the ninth grade students of the fourth grade of Beijing Z Middle School,using classroom observation,interview,text analysis and other methods,to understand the teaching of Chinese argumentation reading based on critical thinking in case schools.Although Z middle school teachers know less about the contents and methods of students' critical thinking cultivation,they have infiltrated some thinking elements of critical thinking cultivation in guiding students to explain key concepts and guide students to evaluate and extract information in Chinese reading teaching.There are still some problems in the teaching of argumentative reading.The setting of critical reading goals,the raising of inquiry questions,the assumption of critical reasoning,the analysis and judgment of facts and opinions,the critical expression of careful questioning,etc.,to some extent ignore the cultivation of students'critical thinking.Based on this,it is concluded that several strategies,such as determining the goal of critical reading,clarifying the thesis and the central argument,clarifying the connotation and extension of the concept,reasonably evaluating the extracted information,learning to ask questions in dialogue teaching,summing up and reflecting on evaluation,can students' critical thinking in reading teaching.And through the argumentative article "Doubt and learning" teaching design and teaching practice.
