Chemistry Curriculum Standards for Ordinary Senior High Schools(2017 edition,revised in 2020)requires that students should be in the dominant position in the teaching process,and teachers should pay attention to cultivating students' practical ability and improving their scientific literacy.Review course plays an indispensable role in summarizing,arranging knowledge,forming knowledge system and developing students' scientific literacy.The knowledge of elemental compounds runs through high school chemistry and occupies an important position in the whole high school chemistry.In view of the triviality and confusion of the knowledge of elemental compounds themselves and the cognitive characteristics of senior three students.In order to solve the confusion of reviewing element compounds at present,this paper tries to review element compounds with mind mapping to increase students' learning enthusiasm and promote their thinking externalization.In the process of teaching practice,the ability of constructing knowledge network map and learning chemistry can be improved by drawing mind map,and then the practical ability of students can be cultivated.In the process of integrating knowledge,it guides students to form two-dimensional element view and osmotic chemistry core literacy,and gradually improves students' scientific literacy.This paper mainly adopts literature research method,questionnaire survey method,educational experiment method and interview method to carry out practical research on mind mapping in the review class of element compounds.Under the guidance of brain science theory,double coding theory,knowledge visualization theory and memory processing level theory,we use mind mapping tools to select senior three students as research objects.In order to determine the effect of mind mapping on students,appropriate experimental group and control group were selected.Among them,the experimental group used mind mapping to design the teaching process and teaching application in the review lesson of elements and compounds,while the control group still used conventional teaching.After teaching practice,the scores,thinking and comprehensive ability of the experimental group and the control group were compared and analyzed.Through the research,it is proved that the application of mind mapping to review the knowledge of elements and compounds can improve the teaching efficiency,improve the teaching mode,change the way of thinking of students,and significantly improve their academic performance and comprehensive ability.
