The ancient Chinese cultural classics are the crystallization of the wisdom and spirit of the Chinese nation,it is also an important carrier of the excellent traditional Chinese culture's.In recent years,more and more attention has been paid to the combination of the excellent traditional Chinese culture and classroom teaching,Strengthening the application of the ancient Chinese cultural classics in high school geography teaching is conductive to the implementation of core geographic literacy and the fundamental task of fostering character and civic virtue,it's beneficial for teachers and students to enhance cultural confidence.By using the methods of literature research,questionnaire survey and case analysis,this paper first systematically combs the meaning of the ancient Chinese cultural classics,and divides it into four categories.Secondly,analyzes the characteristics of ancient Chinese cultural classics and the geography teaching resources contained in them.then through the ancient Chinese cultural classics into the high school geography teaching situation investigation and analysis,combined with the old and new versions of geography compulsory high school textbooks contained in ancient Chinese cultural resources,putting forward the strategy of integrating Chinese ancient cultural classics into geography teaching in senior high school.The main findings are as follows:1.The analysis of the questionnaire data shows that most of the geography teachers are interested in and understand the ancient Chinese culture books,and think that it is necessary to integrate the ancient Chinese culture books into the geography teaching in senior high school,and are willing to integrate them into the teaching.The main problems of integrating Chinese ancient cultural classics into geography teaching in senior high school are: the difficulty of students' deep understanding of Chinese ancient cultural classics,the difficulty of teachers' obtaining Chinese ancient cultural classics materials which can reflect relevant knowledge points,the lack of flexibility in the use of Chinese ancient cultural classics materials,the difficulty of preparing lessons and the long time spent and the heavy teaching tasks.2.Based on the current situation of Chinese ancient cultural classics integrated into geography teaching in senior high school,this study puts forward four targeted teaching strategies.Four strategies are adopted to integrate ancient Chinese cultural classics into senior high school geography teaching: To determine the principles of integrating ancient Chinese cultural classics into senior high school geography teaching,teachers improve the cultural quality of ancient Chinese classics,the method of using classical resources flexibly in classroomteaching and measures to combine geography teaching outside the classroom with classical books.3.Based on the teaching strategies proposed in this study,the section “Common Land Features Types” in the first volume of geography compulsory course of senior high school is selected for teaching design.In the course of teaching design,the strategy of integrating Chinese ancient cultural classics into senior high school geography teaching is applied in practice,which shows the feasibility of integrating Chinese ancient cultural classics into senior high school geography teaching strategy.
