Teachers are the key factors affecting the quality of education and teaching,and the improvement of rural education level depends on the improvement of teachers' professional development level.In order to improve the professional development level of rural primary school teachers,we should first understand the current situation of their development and analyze the main factors affecting their development.Based on the professional capital theory put forward by Andy Hargreaves and Mike Fulan,this study investigates the current situation of rural primary school teachers' professional development,and explores strategies to improve the professional capital level of rural primary school teachers,so as to promote their professional development.Firstly,this study investigates the professional capital level of rural primary school teachers in X city,and compares it with that of urban primary school teachers in X city.The results are as follows: 1.The professional capital level of rural primary school teachers is lower than that of urban primary school teachers,and the difference is mainly manifested in the difference of social capital level.2.Through further analysis of the dimensions of the professional capital of primary school teachers in X city,it is found that although there is no significant difference between rural primary school teachers and urban primary school teachers in the level of human capital and decision capital,there are significant differences in the main dimensions of human capital and decision capital.3.There is no significant difference in the professional capital level of rural primary school teachers in terms of age and title,but there is significant difference in the professional capital level of urban primary school teachers in terms of age and title.This result should be related to the unbalanced age structure and professional title structure of rural primary school teachers.4.By investigating the distribution of human capital and social capital level of primary school teachers in X city,it is found that rural primary school teachers are lower than urban primary schools in high social and human level,but higher than urban primary schools in low social and human level.According to the current situation of rural primary school teachers' professional capital level,this study analyzes the factors that affect the professional capital level of rural primary school teachers: 1.The factors that affect the accumulation of human capital mainly include teachers' educational experience,teachers' after-service training and teachers' awareness of independent development.2.The main factors affecting the accumulation of social capital are teachers' educational beliefs and effective cooperation among teachers.3.The factors affecting the accumulation of decision-making capital are teachers' common value pursuit and reflective practice.According to the above research results,this study discusses the promotion strategies of rural primary school teachers' professional capital level: 1.Build communication platforms at various levels,promote effective cooperation among teachers,and enhance the social capital of rural primary school teachers.2.Gradually improve the structure of rural primary school teachers,and constantly improve the human capital of rural primary school teachers.3.Increase the decision-making capital of rural primary school teachers by promoting teachers' reflective practice.
