After-school services have been a general concern of all sectors of society in recent years.Shandong Province arranged and deployed the after-school service work in primary schools in2017,and set a goal to fully implement after-school service work in primary and secondary schools by the end of September 2019.Then,according to the requirements of the relevant document policies of Shandong Province,will the primary schools in Q City fully implement the after-school services in the school by the end of September 2019? How are schools that implement after-school services in school implemented? What problems did you encounter during the implementation of after-school services? What are the attitudes and further expectations of different subjects on after-school services? This is the focus and idea of this study.This study mainly took 4 schools in Q city as the survey objects,using a combination of questionnaire survey method,observation method and interview method.In the school after-school service questionnaire,a total of 450 student questionnaires,160 parent questionnaires and 100 teacher questionnaires were distributed.430 questionnaires for students,146 questionnaires for parents and 96 questionnaires for teachers.Class observation is mainly to select two of the schools as the key observation objects,and observe a total of 10 after-school services,involving various after-school service courses in grades 1 to 6.Formal interviews and informal interviews were conducted with the after-school service leaders,after-school service teachers,after-school service teachers,students and parents participating in after-school services,respectively,and they had a comprehensive understanding of the after-school service work in Q City.In general,the schools in Q City have basically implemented after-school services in the school,but in the process of developing after-school services,there are still the following problems: “Secondary hosting” exists inside and outside the school,the content of after-school services within the school is single,Participants in the school are not enthusiastic,and the actual participation rate of the parent committee is low.According to the survey and analysis,the main reasons for the above problems are due to insufficient supervision of the implementation of after-school service plans,limited after-school service capabilities of schools,complex and difficult subject coordination,lack of awareness and burden of after-school service teachers,and parents' after-school services.Service rights and responsibilities are ambiguous.In order to reduce the implementation problems of after-school services in schools,the government can improve relevant laws and regulations,and schools can develop after-school service implementation plans,manage them at various levels,and supervise their implementation;the school cooperates with parent committees,volunteers,and out-of-school hosting agencies to integrate after-school Service resources;Adapt to needs,enhance the flexibility of after-school service hours,enrich after-school service courses,and increase the diversity of after-school services;teachers,students,and parents provide timely evaluation and feedback on after-school services to improve the level of after-school services.Clarify the responsibilities of the government,schools,teachers,and parents in after-school services,and effectively solve problems in after-school services in schools,provide standardized and mature after-school services for primary students,and promote the healthy and scientific development of after-school services in schools.
