After entering the 21 st century,in order to develop the teacher education in poor school districts,the United States has implemented a unique way of teacher training urban school teachers in school.The U.S.urban teacher in school program is a teacher education program proposed for urban school districts.It aims to solve the problem of teacher quality and teacher loss in urban school districts through cooperation with local colleges and universities,local public schools and third-party non-profit organizations.Through the study of the teachers in urban schools in the United States,we can provide reference and Enlightenment for the teacher training of weak schools in China.In this paper,literature research,case study and comparative study are used to study the generation and development of urban school teachers in the United States,and the specific implementation cases.The results of the implementation of the project and the enlightenment for China's teacher education are obtained.This study consists of four chapters.The first chapter is the introduction of the article.This section explains the reasons for choosing the topic,the purpose and significance of the research on the faculty program of American urban schools,the research methods used,and relevant domestic and foreign literature Overview and definition of basic concepts.The third part is the implementation case of the urban teachers resident program,taking the Chicago and Boston Urban Teachers resident program as an example,From the organization and management of the two implementation projects,as well as a series of procedures before,during and after the implementation,this paper analyzes and introduces the specific contents of the Chicago and Boston Urban Teachers' Campus projects in detail.Then,it makes a comparative analysis of the characteristics and differences of the two projects,and makes a deep research and Discussion on them.The last part is the positive effect of the implementation of the urban teachers' school project in the United States,and what kind of inspiration and reference it brings to our country's teacher education,and draw the conclusion of this paper.
