As an important literary genre,novel has its unique teaching value in Chinese teaching.Learning novels can not only broaden the vision and enrich the emotions but also train students' thinking.Teaching materials are the core part of curriculum resources,the medium and carrier of teaching activities and the main basis for teachers to carry out teaching activities.Therefore,it is of great significance for the teaching of novels to understand the selection of novels in the Ministry educational textbook of junior middle school.This paper takes the novels in the textbooks of junior middle school as the research object and uses the methods of statistics and chart analysis to study the essay Selection system,Assistant reading system and Exercise system of the novels in the six copies of materials so as to understand the situation of the novels in the textbooks and summarize the features of the novels.On the basis of the research results,the author puts forward some suggestions on the use of teaching materials and teaching methods so as to help front-line teachers better understand the selection of novels in the ministry educational textbooks of junior middle school and better at teaching fiction.Chapter 1 mainly studies the novel Selection system in the ministry educational junior middle school Chinese textbook.The author studies the novel Selection system from the two aspects of the novel selection and arrangement.In the selection of the novel: This paper analyzes the selection of novels from the aspect of quantity,category and subject matter and summarizes the characteristics of the selection of novels on the basis of research.It founds that the theme of the selection of novels conforms to the mainstream values of the country;The selection of novels focuses on the harmony and unity of classics and times;The selection of novels focuses on the diversity of materials.In the part of novel arrangement: This paper studies the distribution and arrangement of the novel in each grade and summarizes the characteristics of the arrangement of the novel.Tt finds that the part of the compilation of the junior middle school Chinese textbook novel adopts the double-line structure arrangement and the combination of dispersion and concentration arrangement.In the process of arranging novel selection,the textbook pays attention to step by step and pays attention to the unity of tool and humanity.Chapter 2 mainly studies the Assistant reading system of novels in the ministry educational junior middle school Chinese textbook.This paper mainly studies four parts of the novel Assistant reading system,including Annotation,Illustration,Prompt language and Knowledge supplement.On the basis of studying the content(quantity)of each part,the author summarizes the characteristics of the novel Assistant reading system and finds the following characteristics: the annotation content is rich,the illustrations are widely distributed,the prompt language pays attention to the method instruction,the knowledge supplement pays attention to a lesson.Chapter 3 mainly studies the Exercise system of novels in the ministry educational junior middle school Chinese textbook.First of all,the after-class exercises of novels are sorted out and the quantity is counted.Secondly,the after class exercises of novels are classified: According to the classification standards of after-class exercises(Memorization,Comprehension and Application)of Gu Huangchu and Gu Zhenbiao,It founds that the number of comprehension questions is the largest which indicates that the textbook pays more attention to the cultivation of students' comprehension ability.And ccording to the classification of the content of after-class exercises of novels(Characters,Plots,Environment,Theme,Language,Artistic techniques and Comprehensive expansion),It finds that the after-class exercises of novels have four characteristics: Highlighting the stylistic elements of novels;Pay attention to language appreciation;Focus on artistic techniques and Pay attention to the cultivation of comprehensive ability.Finally,this paper summarizes the characteristics of the setting of after-class exercises in novels: The problem setting focuses on the construction of scaffolding,layering,directivity and personalized reading.Chapter 4 puts forward the use of teaching materials and teaching suggestions according to the characteristics of the selected novels.According to the characteristics of the novel selection system in the middle school,this paper put forward the optimization of novel teaching methods.According to the characteristics of the novel assistant reading system and the practice system,this paper proposes the method of teaching fiction by using textbooks.According to the three-dimension integrated reading system of "self-reading-teaching-after-class reading" advocated by the department,the author proposes that the teaching of fiction should be divided into two classes(Novel teaching reading classes and Novel self reading classes)and proposes that teachers should attach importance to extracurricular reading and enrich reading resources for students.
