The excellent Chinese traditional culture is the root and soul of the Chinese nation,and the important source of cultivating the growth of every Chinese.Ancient poetry and prose acting as the important carrier and crystal of wisdom of the excellent Chinese traditional culture is not only the important channel to learning traditional culture but also the indispensable part of the Chinese textbooks.The mainland and Taiwan are of the same origin and share the same language and cultural background.They not only have many common points in selection of Chinese textbooks,but also have their own characteristics.Taking the content of ancient poetry and prose selected in junior middle school Chinese textbooks of both sides of the Taiwan Straits as the comparative research object,it can provide more experience and suggestions for the presentation and development of traditional culture in junior middle school Chinese textbooks.In this paper,the latest edition of Chinese textbook for junior middle school,?Yu Wen?,compiled by the Ministry of Education and the mainstream edition of Chinese textbook for junior middle school,?Guo Wen?,in Hanlin of Taiwan are selected as research samples,and the research methods such as literature research,comparative analysis,case analysis and quantitative analysis are used to conduct a comprehensive comparative study on the basis,structure,content,guidance and practice system of the two editions of textbooks.This paper is divided into the following six parts:In the introduction part,starting from the current social situation and discipline trend,the relevant academic literature on both sides of the Taiwan Strait is analyzed,the social significance and academic value of this study under this background are discussed,and the specific direction and methods of the study are further clarified.The first chapter from a macro perspective,first of all,the concept and significance of culture and cultural policy are elaborated,and then by comparing the development trend of traditional cultural policies across the Taiwan Strait,we can understand the different positions of the two sides on traditional culture.On this basis,the paper compares and analyzes the different requirements of traditional culture in mainland's?the curriculum standards of compulsory education?and Taiwan's?the twelve-year consistent curriculum outline?,and their different positions in the editing and reviewing ideas of teaching materials of both sides.In the second chapter,from the perspective of arrangement structure,we not only make statistics on the overall arrangement,quantity and proportion of ancient poetry in the two editions of textbooks,but also make statistics on the quantity and proportion of ancient poetry in each academic year and each volume,so as to reflect the similarities and differences of traditional culture in the selection and compilation of ancient poetry and prose in the two editions of textbooks through detailed comparative data analysis.In the third chapter,from the perspective of content arrangement,the paper makes a systematic and detailed analysis of the specific proportion of ancient poetry in each grade,the value orientation and proportion of traditional culture in the selection and compilation of ancient poetry,as well as the overlapping authors and titles of the selection and compilation of ancient poetry and prose in the two editions of textbooks,and compares the similarities and differences of the traditional cultural content presented in the selection and compilation of ancient poetry in the two editions of textbooks.The fourth chapter starts from the ancient poetry and prose guidance and practice system of the two editions of textbooks,and analyzes the four aspects of the preview system,annotation system,illustration system and practice system of the two editions of textbooks,respectively,to explore and compare the differences in the learning effect of the traditional cultural content in the ancient poetry guidance and practice system of the two editions of textbooks.On the basis of the above analysis,the fifth chapter considers the selection and compilation of ancient poetry and prose in junior middle school Chinese textbook from the perspective of traditional culture learning,and puts forward feasible improvement suggestions from the three dimensions of text arrangement,text collection,guidance and practice system.Generally speaking,from the perspective of traditional culture,the two editions of textbooks have their own advantages and disadvantages.Under the condition of attaching importance to the basic position of traditional culture,we should fully draw on the advantages of both sides in order to promote the development of junior middle school Chinese ancient poetry and prose teaching and traditional culture education,we should make clear the characteristics of traditional culture,adjust the adaptability of ancient poetry content,show the whole picture of traditional culture,ensure the diversity of ancient poetry selection and compilation,add the interest of traditional culture,and ensure the effectiveness of ancient poetry and prose learning.
