In the 21 st century,with the accelerated development of information technology and the rapid development of society,International competition has become increasingly fierce.The demand for high-quality talents in various countries is increasing.Building a team of high-quality teachers has become an urgent task for improving the quality of education to train outstanding talents and enhance International competitiveness.At present,there are more quantitative studies on teachers at the macro level,but there are still relatively few studies on teachers at the micro level,especially the narrative research on the professional development of young teachers in rural middle schools.And the ways,especially practical and effective ways for young teachers are few to get professional improvement.Compared to studies on the external factors for their professional improvement,studies on the internal factors are few.Therefore,this paper selects young teachers from different subjects in a rural middle school in Pingdu C ity and analyzes their professional development by qualitative study.This article is divided into five parts.The first part introduces the research origin,research significance,literature review,concept definition,theoretical basis and research methods and processes.Chapter one is the educational narrative with the theme of the independent development of young teachers in rural middle school.It is mainly the educational stories of the four teachers from different subjects and in different ages,showing the backgrounds,contents and ways of their professional independent improvement.And the author gives the reflections of the studies for these teachers.Chapter two analyzes the influence factors of the independent development of young teachers in rural middle schools from the internal and external aspects.Chapter three explains the enlightenment according to the description,ana lysis of the current status and the reasons for the professional independent development of young teachers in rural middle school.Then the strategies and suggestions for the professional independent development of young teachers in rural middle schools are given: the most important part for teachers' professional independent improvement is that teachers improve by themselves;it is necessary for teachers' professional independent improvement to have a favorable school environment,such as harmonious school culture and fair and reasonable evaluation system;national policy gives the direction to guarantee teachers' improvement fluently.The epilogue states the core power and factor for teachers' improvement,especially teachers' professional independent improvement——the devotion to education.The other is about the part of this thesis should be studied furtherly.
