The correct understanding of the meaning of solid words is the basis and premise of understanding a piece of classical Chinese,and it is one of the learning goals of middle school students to be able to read simple classical Chinese.The main reasons are the large number of notional words,the complicated meanings of words,and the improper teaching methods,which lead to the difficulties in the teaching of notional words.In view of this,this paper attempts to apply the exegetics method of "seeking meaning by form" to the teaching of ancient Chinese substantive words in senior high school,to seek the original meaning according to the ancient characters' shape,to seek the extended meaning to construct the system of lexical meaning,and to provide new ideas for the teaching of classical Chinese substantive words in senior high school,in order to improve the efficiency of classical Chinese words teaching to improve the current situation,improve the level of classical Chinese reading students.This paper is divided into five chapters to discuss the application of "the method of seeking meaning by form" in the teaching of classical Chinese words in senior high school.First of all,the introduction part mainly elaborates the research origin,the significance,the present situation and the research content,the thought and the method.The second chapter explains the concrete meaning of "seeking meaning by form" and clarifies the basic concepts related to it.In the third chapter,the author explains the importance of the teaching of classical Chinese notional words in senior high school from three aspects: the teaching requirement of the course standard,the examination form of the test and the way to improve the students' level of classical Chinese,this paper analyzes the problems in the teaching of classical Chinese substantive words in senior high schools,and puts forward some strategies to solve the problems.The Fourth Chapter Discusses this teaching method from theory and practice.On the one hand,combining the knowledge of philology,pedagogy and psychology,it explains the feasibility of this teaching method in theory At the same time,referring to the 120 classical Chinese words listed in Appendix 1 of the 2002 edition of the full-time High School Language Teaching Syllabus,the author combs through 10 teaching cases of high-frequency vocabulary design in the textbook and carries out practical teaching,operability.Finally,the Fifth Chapter Compares and tests the teaching effect of the method by means of test paper and questionnaire,in order to make a feasibility evaluation and give some suggestions on how to use this teaching method more effectively.This paper holds that the application of the method of "seeking meaning by form" in the teaching of classical Chinese words in senior high school has changed the way of teaching and the behavior of students.It is helpful to arouse students' interest in learning classical Chinese and help them understand the cultural meaning of Chinese characters.It is also helpful to improve the efficiency of teaching.
