The primary school stage is the initial stage for students to formally enter the compulsory education system,and it is also a key stage related to the students' entire learning career.Having a good level of school adaptation is crucial to their future learning and growth.School adaptation refers to the condition in which students are proactive and willing to learn,develop physically and mentally,handle the interpersonal relationship with their peers and teachers well,and realize good learning adaptation,life adaptation and interpersonal adaptation to harmonious and healthy development in the school environment.A study to investigate the school adaptation of students with learning disabilities in primary schools,to grasp the actual situation of learning adaptation,life adaptation and interpersonal adaptation of students with learning disabilities in school plays an important role,which could help teachers to aim at their existing problems,provide them with appropriate teaching content and teaching methods,help them improve their interest in language learning,to enhance their initiative in language learning,enable them to finally gain a sense of achievement in Chinese learning.Based on this,so as to better develop the Chinese teaching practice,and improve the quality of primary school Chinese teaching.It is an important topic for educators and researchers to focus on the special group of pupils with Chinese learning disabilities and improve their school adjustment.In this study,a full-time public primary school in a city was used as an example.The survey method,interview method and observation method were used for research,37 pupils with Chinese learning disability and 37 ordinary pupils in primary school were selected as the research objects.With tools of the revised pupil rating scale of learning disability screening,the self-designed questionnaire of pupils school adjustment,interview outline of pupils school adjustment and observation of pupils daily behavior(for teachers),the research discusses the overall level of Chinese learning disability pupils school adaptation,the situation of school adjustment by grade and the existing problems of Chinese learning disability pupils school adjustment,to reflect the students school adaptation performance to provide reference for the majority of educators in coping with Chinese learning disabilities performance.The study found that the school adaptation level of students with Chinese learning disabilities in primary school is lower than that of ordinary students,with poor overall development the overall level of development is poor.Among them,the life adaptation is the best,the interpersonal adaptation is second,and the learning adaptation is the worst.The school adaptation of Chinese learning disabilities in primary school is poor in the middle grade,good in the lower grade and best in the upper grade.The adaptability of primary school students with Chinese learning disabilities in each school stage is poor for middle school,good for lower grades,and best for upper grades.There existing some problems in Chinese learning disability pupils such as the issue of learning attitude,learning methods and learning habits are prominent,poor teacher-student relationships,and the regression of learning adaptation in middle grade is obvious.This study put forward the following educational suggestions: explore ways to improve the school adaptability of students with Chinese learning disabilities in primary schools;pay attention to the learning adaptation of students with Chinese learning disabilities in middle grades;improve the teacher-student relationship among students with Chinese learning disabilities.
