The cultivation of core literacy of disciplines has become focus of secondary education,and more and more attention goes to it with the continuous progress of the new curriculum reform.The idea of geographical core literacy becomes hot topic after mention,and as one of the most important connotation,synthetic thinking has been mentioned several times in the new curriculum standard,which emphasizes the importance of synthetic thinking that can be cultivated through participation in geographic situation.The new curriculum reform lays stress on the dominant role of students and requests students to participate in class for initiative,so the high demand is released to teachers and students.Therefore,the advantage of participatory teaching method shows gradually,Participatory teaching method plays an irreplaceable role in simulating interest,enhancing learning capability and taking initiative.It exercises geographic synthetic thinking and cultures geographic core literacy with its unique teaching method.The studies on geographic synthetic thinking increase nowadays,and the scope of study becomes wider,but the researches is not comprehensive enough.Therefore,studies on geographical synthetic thinking still need to carry on to improve the theory system of geographic core literacy.Currently researches on participatory teaching method mainly focus on other subjects and rarely on geography,especially rarely on the base of development of synthetic thinking.Based on this,this study uses the participatory teaching method and comprehensive thinking as the theme,through the literature research method,questionnaire survey method and interview method,to study the status quo,design,and application implementation of the participatory teaching method.The basic research part of this paper first elaborates on the theoretical issues related to participatory teaching method and comprehensive thinking,including concepts and characteristics.Then,according to the topic,collect relevant literature and materials,and discuss the domestic and foreign research of participatory teaching method and comprehensive thinking.This research takes the theory of subjectivity,constructivist learning theory and multi-intelligence theory as the theoretical basis.Through questionnaire survey on and interview with high school students and teachers of Changyuan No.1 middle school in Henan Province,this study focuses on the participatory teaching method and proposes feasible measures to replenish the theoretical research on the base of status,design and application of participatory teaching method.This study obtains real and objective data through questionnaire survey on and interview with high school students and teachers of Changyuan No.1 middle school in Henan Province,and analyzes and summaries the data by Excel and SPSS.A total of questionnaires were sent out,340 were recovered,the recovery rate is 100%.And the valid questionnaires are 336,the effective rate is 98.82%.Through the analyze of questionnaire and interview record,the study summaries questions of application of participatory teaching method in high school class:(1)Most students have a higher interest in geography;(2)Participation is low in geographic class;(3)Students have different attitudes about autonomic learning and learning by being told;(4)Students have a positive attitude towards participatory teaching methods;(5)Most geography teachers have a positive attitude towards participatory teaching methods.They believe that high school has the implementation environment of participatory teaching methods,and that participatory teaching methods are conducive to the cultivation of students' comprehensive thinking ability.Based on the data analyze,this thesis proposes follow methods:(1)Enhance students' self-directed learning awareness and classroom subject consciousness;(2)Create a good participatory atmosphere and increase student participation in class;(3)Develop students' ability of knowledge synthesis and thinking synthesis in participatory classrooms;(4)Link theory with practice,cultivate comprehensive thinking in participating practice;(5)Improve the participatory teaching evaluation system.The innovation point of this is study perspective;The researches on the application of participatory teaching method in geography is much less,especially researches on the base of the cultivation of synthetic thinking.The purposes of this study are to support the application of participatory teaching method in geography and replenish teaching method in geography in high school.The participatory teaching method adapts to the requirements of the new curriculum standard and has a certain positive impact on the improvement of students' ability in all aspects.I hope that this research can attract more and more attention to participatory teaching methods,deepen their understanding,and hope that this study can provide reference for the improvement of high school geography classroom teaching methods,provide teachers with certain reference,and further promote geography teaching.
