With the gradual deepening of mathematics teaching reform,the history of mathematics has been paid more and more attention by mathematics educators and teachers.In the new curriculum standard of mathematics in middle school,it is suggested to infiltrate mathematics culture and introduce relevant background knowledge,which can help students understand the role of mathematics in the development of human civilization,stimulate students' interest in learning mathematics,and feel the rigor of mathematicians' scholarship.Appreciate the beauty of mathematics.The history of mathematics plays an important role in mathematics education,but in the actual teaching process,it is unknown how teachers use it.This paper makes a full investigation and analysis on the current situation of the integration of mathematics history into mathematics teaching in junior middle school.This paper mainly combs the relevant references,summarizes the current research situation of the integration of mathematics history into junior middle school mathematics teaching,and then designs the questionnaires of teachers and students about "investigation and research on the integration of mathematics history into junior middle school mathematics teaching".Investigate teachers and students of different degrees,and then interview individual representative teachers to fully understand the current teaching situation of the integration of mathematics history into mathematics teaching in junior middle school.Finally,the corresponding conclusions and suggestions are given according to the results of the survey.According to the survey,it is found that:(1)most junior middle school mathematics teachers have a positive attitude towards the educational function of mathematics history,but most junior middle school mathematics teachers occasionally use the knowledge of mathematics history as an auxiliary means of teaching.(2)the main way to integrate the history of mathematics into mathematics teaching is to explain some short stories of mathematicians to enhance students' interest in learning,as well as occasionally explain some defined background and classical mathematical problems.(3)the main sources for junior middle school mathematics teachers to acquire the knowledge of the history of mathematics are textbooks and guidance books,and most of the students learn the knowledge of the history of mathematics from the textbooks and the teachers' narration.(4)there are many factors that influence the integration of mathematics history into mathematics education,including teachers' literacy of mathematics history,teachers' understanding of the knowledge value of mathematics history,the richness of mathematics history resources,students' love for mathematics history,the content requirements of mathematics in senior high school entrance examination,and so on.(5)Students generally believe that the main purpose of learning mathematics is to achieve good grades,and they lack interest in mathematics and the history of mathematics itself.most students think that the history of mathematics has no effect on learning mathematics,and students' understanding of the educational value of the history of mathematics needs to be improved.The way for students to integrate the history of mathematics into classroom teaching is to watch micro-videos of the history of mathematics before class and tell mathematical stories in teaching.In view of the above,the author proposes to change the concept of teachers;rational use of teaching materials;comprehensive selection of various ways;perfect integration of various ways;build a teaching plan resource database of mathematics history into junior high school mathematics teaching;strengthen teachers' professional training in the history of mathematics and other methods to improve the current situation.
