The "Compulsory Education Mathematics Curriculum Standards(2011 Edition)"(here inafter referred to as the "Curriculum Standards")emphasizes that teachers should impart students relevant materials related to mathematical development history in education.The fact that the mathematical history materials are frequently covered in the compulsory edu cation textbooks of mathematics in junior high schools has further proved the important position occupied by the mathematical history in junior high school education.Relevant experimental research results show that the combination of the mathematical history and mathematics education plays a conductive role in stimulating students' interest.However,problems such as improper and nonstandard behaviors currently exist in teachers' selectio n of the mathematical history materials and their presentation in mathematics education To this end,it is a extremely important topic and of great education significance further researching on how to select and present the mathematical history materials in junior mi ddle school mathematics education.The research works of this paper involve:(1)Formulate questionnaires with good re liability and validity;(2)Investigate the selection and presentation status of the history o f mathematics materials in junior high school mathematics teaching;(3)Figure out the pr oblems and propose corresponding strategies regarding junior high school mathematics tea ching.This research adopts documentary method and survey method.First,after referring t o,sorting out and summarizing literature related to the mathematical history,it has clarifi ed the research purpose and problems existing,as well as content and theoretical basis And then it has designed the questionnaires and interview syllabus for teachers on the basis of researches carried out by others and combining the curriculum standards and pe dagogical theories,and guided experts and by front-line teachers.Moreover,it has investi gated and researched on the current situation of junior middle school mathematics teacher s' selection and presentation of the mathematical history materials.In addition,analyze th e reliability and validity of the questionnaire data,and sort out and analyze the results o btained by the questionnaire survey and interviews,from which problems existing in the selection and presentation of the mathematical history materials in the junior middle scho ol mathematics education were found.Therefore,it has explored and summarized corresp onding strategies based on the research results obtained by others.Research conclusions:(1)Selection and presentation status quo of the history of mat hematics materials:teachers agree and recognize the value of adopting the history of mat hematics materials in mathematics teaching.(2)Problems existing in the selection and pr esentation of the history of mathematics materials:teachers failed to collect and extend materials related to the history of mathematics,neglected the relationship between the his tory of mathematics materials and teaching contents,lacked multiple ways to present the materials in mathematics teaching,presented the materials in mathematics teaching in an inappropriate time.Suggestions proposed respectively regarding the problems:(1)Read the teaching mat erials thoroughly and explore the history of mathematics materials deeply;(2)Reasonably select and adapt the history of mathematics materials based on the textbooks;(3)Clarif y the intention and improve the presentation method of the history of mathematics materi als;(4)Seize the opportunity,and closely refer to the teaching content to present the his tory of mathematics materials.
