Function belongs to the subject 2 of compulsory course in the course content of Mathematics Curriculum Standard for Senior High Schools(2017),which is very abstract and difficult.In junior high school,students mainly learn functions from the perspective of variables.In senior high school,students learn functions from the perspective of sets and corresponding angles.The functions of junior and senior high school are not only different but also related.The learning of junior high school function related content can become the basis of senior high school function learning,and may also become the interference.It is necessary and feasible to do a good job in the function teaching connection between junior high school and senior high school.Using the methods of literature research,questionnaire,interview and experiment to study the connection of function teaching in junior and senior high school.First of all,from the perspective of students,this paper analyzes students' attitudes,habits and methods of learning mathematics and the cognitive level of function part through questionnaire survey,then analyze the causes of students' difficulty in learning function and the actual situation of teaching connection from the perspective of teachers,and analyze the causes.On this basis,the teaching design of function is worked out with the concept,nature and application of function,mainly focuse on the goal,knowledge,students' cognition,teaching method and learning method,and select appropriate classes to test the effectiveness and rationality.The research shows that teaching cohesion has a positive impact on students' learning,especially on the middle-class students,and also reflects the effectiveness of teaching design.According to the research results,the following teaching suggestions are given from the aspects of objectives,knowledge,students' cognition,teaching methods and learning methods: 1.Conduct in-depth study of curriculum standards,based on the overall knowledge structure;2.Build the corresponding knowledge system according to the students' cognitive development and the actual situation of students;3 Pay attention to the process of inquiry,cultivate the core quality of students;4.Use modern information technology to improve the quality of teaching.
