Time and space are the two basic elements of the existence and development of historical things.Since the core quality of history discipline was put forward,more and more scholars and teachers have paid attention to the concept of time and space,which has become a hot topic in history teaching research.The majority of teachers have made a lot of explorations on how to better cultivate students' concept of time and space.The graphic method can make the teaching content intuitive,visual,and structured.Its advantages are suitable for the cultivation of the concept of space-time,and it helps the students to cultivate the concept of space-time.Based on the cultivation of the concept of space-time,this paper combines the relevant theories and practices to explore the strategy of using the graphic method to cultivate students' concept of space-time.This article is divided into five parts: The first part explains the topic selection background,research purpose,research status and other contents.The second part defines the concepts of iconography and space-time concepts,and elaborates the classification of historical icons.The third part expounds the role of graphic method in cultivating students' concept of space-time from three aspects: basic knowledge of space-time,historical space-time framework,and space-time relations.The fourth part,combined with specific teaching cases,puts forward the application strategy of graphic method in the cultivation of space-time concepts.The fifth part,starting from teaching practice,proves that the graphic method has a positive effect on cultivating students' space-time concepts,but this is a gradual and long-term process that requires constant exploration by teachers and students.
