Childcare workers are children who work for young children and play an important role in the development of their physical and mental health.Understanding the status of nurses' professional identity and job burnout and exploring the relationship between them will help to stabilize the kindergarten teachers, improve the professional identity of nurses, and alleviate their job burnout. It is of great significance to improve the quality of nursery education in kindergartens. This study draws the following conclusions through a questionnaire survey:The professional identification level of the childcare workers reaches the upper-middle level, among which the professional emotional score is the highest, followed by the professional value, professional expectations, professional skills, professional will, and professional concept. There are no significant differences in the professional identity and various dimensions of childcare workers of different ages, working years, professional titles, and establishments. There are no significant differences in professional identity among childcare workers with different educational backgrounds and marital status, but there are significant differences in individual dimensions.Caregivers with different wage levels have significant differences in their professional identity and in all dimensions.Caregiver's job burnout is at a low-to-medium level, with a low score for achievement in all dimensions, followed by emotional failure, and the lowest score for de-personalization.There were no significant differences in the overall and various dimensions of job burnout among childcare workers based on the nature, length of work, job title, and establishment of different kindergartens. There are no significant differences in job burnout among childcare workers of different ages and wage levels, but there are significant differences in individual dimensions.Caregivers with different educational backgrounds and marital status showed significant differences in job burnout and various dimensions.Career identity and various dimensions were negatively correlated with job burnout.Occupational identity has a certain predictive effect on job burnout: Occupational emotions can significantly negatively predict emotional failure, depersonalization, and low sense of achievement, and professional concepts can significantly negatively predict emotional failure.Aiming at the above conclusions, this study puts forward rationalization suggestions from three levels of society, kindergarten, and childcare workers to improve the social security system, improve the kindergarten management system, and self-improvement of childcare workers.
