The physical education in the school is not only the important content of the Party’seducation policy, but also the important constituent of quality education. As early as in2006,the national Ministry of Education, united with State Physical Culture Administration and theCommunist Youth League, issued the "announcement to call on millions of students toparticipate in the national sunny program on sports ‘’(art education [2006] no.6). In addition,on July8,2010, the ministry of education issued a report to ensure that each student in theprimary and middle school should do sports at least an hour a day on campus "(art education[2011] no.2), All the middle and primary schools and relative education administrativedepartments should carry out this program, which is directly related to the index of annualperformance evaluation. Anyone who doesn’t carry out t the regulations conscientiouslywill be not eligible to take part in any kind of performance evaluation and competition. Thisshows that the significance of the physical education to promote the quality education and thestudents’ physical and mental health is attracting great concern of the leadership and the wholesociety.As the main factor of the physical education, PE teachers’ psychological health is alsoattracting more and more attention of the researchers. This study aims to investigate the PEteachers’ occupational tiredness, job satisfaction, and the present situation of each professionaland their relationship, so as to provide the scientific basis for the cultivation and managementof physical education teachers. Having surveyed1university, Survey in hebei tangshanprimary and middle school400sports teacher,by use of the analysis of variance, correlationanalysis, regression analysis and other statistical methods, we get the following conclusions:1. The PE teachers’ occupational tiredness feeling in Tangshan is generally low. Andtheir weary feeling has no significant difference in teachers’ age, school age, education, andmarital status, cultural degree and school properties, urban and rural. However, it hassignificant differences in the sex of physical education teachers’. That is, female PE teachershave more significant occupational tiredness than male ones.2. In general, PE teachers’ job satisfaction in Tangshan is on an ordinary level. And it has nothing to do with their work, sex, age and marriage, but it has some differences in the titleand different roles in different types of school work, the specifics as follows:2.1PE teachers in Tangshan speak highly of their own work, which is consistent with thehigh level of Tangshan teachers’ professional identification.2.2Considering the influence of sex, male PE teachers’ satisfaction is slightly higherthan female teachers’.2.3Different age stages of the physical education teachers in tangshan city jobsatisfaction there exist significant differences, Only the teachers under30years old have arelatively lower job satisfaction, but it is developing along with the age growth.2.4Marital status has not a significant effect on job satisfaction. As for the income of thejob, married teachers’ job satisfaction is higher than unmarried teachers, but in promotion,interpersonal relationship and school management evaluation, unmarried teachers’ jobsatisfaction is higher than married teachers2.5Professional ranks and titles is an important factor for teachers’ job satisfaction, andteachers’ income and job satisfaction is increasing with the enhancement of their title.2.6PE teachers’ job satisfaction’ is greatly influenced by their different types ofcharacters in the school. Among them, those as an executive in the school, usually have a jobsatisfaction in the school management, promotion and income lower than average. And othersas training teachers’ job satisfactions are obviously influenced by their own work, workenvironment and interpersonal relationships.3. Tangshan PE teachers’ professional identity is on a relatively high level, which has nosignificant differences in sex, age, working age, and teaching grade while has somedifferences in their degree and in the urban or rural schools, and the specific as follows:3.1The higher degree an individual physical education teacher has got, the higherprofessional identity he has;3.2PE teachers working in the urban schools usually have a higher professional identitythan those in the country.4. PE teachers’ professional identity is closely related to their job satisfaction. The highertheir professional identity is, the more teachers tend to have higher job satisfaction. 5. Physical education teachers’ professional identity has a negative influence on theiroccupational tiredness, namely, the better the teachers’ professional identity is, the lower moreteachers tend to have.6. In general, both PE teachers’ professional identity and their job satisfaction have adirect influence on teachers’ occupational tiredness feeling. Considering such relationshipamong them, teachers’ weary feeling can be directly predicted to a certain degree.
