The questionnaire of adolescents' emotional regulation ability of Ji Jiajun is adopted in this study,which is used for Senior One students from a key middle school in Shenyang,Liaoning Province in order to improve emotional regulation ability of Senior One students and develop their positive mental characters.The author collects539 valid data through random distribution of questionnaires and uses SPSS 22.0 to make statistical analysis.The aim is to analyze the current development status and gender differences of emotion regulation ability of Senior One students.The author uses random sampling method with the samples of Class Five and Class Six of Senior One to make homogeneity test analysis.The author finds there is no obvious difference of emotion regulation ability between the two classes,so the two classes are chosen as experimental class and control class.On the basis of the emotion and psychological development characteristics of the Senior One students,the author uses the related intervention techniques of positive psychology and designs a set of intervention course plan based on high school mental health teaching course in order to improve emotional regulation ability of Senior One students.The author explores the effect of mental health education courses on improving the emotional regulation ability of Senior One students through the intervention of mental health education courses.At the same time,the author makes case study of individual student to further show the the effect of mental health education courses on improving the emotional regulation ability of Senior One students.The result shows that:(1)The emotional regulation ability of Senior One students is good.(2)There is difference of emotional regulation ability between Senior One students with different genders.(3)After the training of intervention courses of emotional regulation ability,the author uses paired-smaple test to make quantitative analysis of experimental class and control class.The result shows that the factor scores of emotional regulation ability of experimental class have been improved obviously and the emotional regulation ability has been developed.There is no obvious difference of scores between the pre-test and the post-test of control class,which shows the intervention effect is clear.Besides,theeffective case study can also prove the intervention effect is clear.
