With the continuous development of society,and now we enter the era of visual images,whether in real life,or a virtual network,we are full of beautiful things in eyes,every day surrounded the good and bad are intermingled of image information,this needs we have to read it,understand it and differentiate it ability,and cultivate the ability in each class we will be dealing with image is an absolute advantage in the education of fine arts discipline.Based on 2016,led by senior professor of psychology at Beijing normal university students to develop the core literacy joint task force,through the press conference,"the Chinese students to develop the core literacy" of the overall framework,after each course on the basis of all put forward their own discipline accomplishment and vertical division,the division for fine arts disciplines is "visual image",the value of the other are stituation,and one of the "image read" is one of the fine arts discipline two unique qualities,and fine arts disciplines the five core quality of the first and basic literacy.In our fine arts teaching,no matter in which field of fine arts learning,are inseparable from the"map",so to improve the image reading ability is the most basic ability we should have for all types of art classes.This paper is mainly divided into five parts:the first part analyzes the performance of the art class in primary schools and the students' ability of "image reading",conducts questionnaire survey on the students and interviews with the teachers,and lists and analyzes the problems existing in the current experience by summarizing.The second part mainly explains the importance of students' ability of "image reading".By analyzing the changes of today's times,students have the ability to explain the role of their own development.The third part analyzes the degree and method of cultivating students' ability of "image reading" through appreciation teaching and practice teaching respectively,which indicates that art appreciation teaching is more useful for cultivating students' ability of "image reading".The fourth part expounds how to train students' ability of "image reading" in the art classroom teaching,and puts forward Suggestions and specific operation methods.Through the analysis of a large number of class examples,the students,teachers and teaching are closely connected so as to put forward Suggestions.The fifth part takes paper-cut series as an example to analyze the detailed teaching design from the perspective of appreciation class teaching and practice class teaching,and integrates the training Suggestions proposed in the fourth part into the teaching design case,so that students can better interpret the image and feel the charm of the image through the unique patterns in paper-cut art.By paying more attention to students' ability of "image reading" in art teaching,students are guided to learn the methods of analyzing and understanding images,and through continuous training,aesthetic appreciation can be improved,contributing to the cultivation of "all-round development of people".
