As a carrier of data information,statistical graph plays an increasingly important role in the era of rapid development of information society.Primary school is the key stage to cultivate students' data analysis ability and statistical graph understanding ability.Therefore,it is more and more concerned by scholars and teachers to understand the current situation of primary school students' understanding level of statistical graph and improve their statistical graph understanding ability.In recent years,the theoretical research on the data analysis ability of primary school students has been developing constantly,but the research practice and evaluation methods on the understanding level of primary school students' statistical map are not enough.Based on this,this topic "the sixth grade students with the understanding of a bar chart and line statistical figure level" as the core problem,according to the request of "course standard(2011)to obtain information,statistical figure into interpretation data,said data,reasoning and predict four dimensions and connecting with the SOLO level classification,constructing evaluation tools,statistical figure level of understanding of the statistical figure four dimensions students level were analyzed.The results show that :(1)the sixth grade students have a general understanding of the statistical graph.(2)the understanding level of the sixth grade students on the bar chart is higher than that of the broken line chart.(3)most of the students can reach the correlation level in the two aspects of information acquisition and data interpretation of statistical graph,while the students' understanding level in the aspects of data presentation,reasoning and prediction is low.Based on the analysis of the results of the study,in view of the problems in students in the understanding of statistical figure,this study thought: when carries on the statistical figure teaching,teachers must be good at creating close to the actual situation of student life,to strengthen student's understanding of chart data in the statistical information,improve the students' ability of data analysis,and in the teaching process should pay attention to the standardization of training students to draw statistical figure and rigour.At the same time,in order to make students express information more logically,teachers should pay attention to training students' ability of mathematical language expression.
