In recent years,countries and regions around the world have generally attached great importance to the cooperation between families and schools,so as to promote the joint efforts between home and school and the development of higher quality education.Educational administrations around the world give priority to the development of home-school cooperation,model innovation of home-school communication,and exploration for the forms in which parents can effectively participate in school.Hong Kong,as a special administrative region of China,has a developed economy and a high degree of internationalization.Against the background of deepening educational reform,Hong Kong is keenly aware that the cooperation between families and schools will inevitably push forward educational development deeply.Hong Kong and the mainland are intricately linked in terms of cultural traditions,human environment,and social psychology than foreign country.The practical experience of home-school cooperation is worthy of careful investigation and reference.This research adopts a combination of theoretical research and empirical analysis,and takes the practice form and security system of Hong Kong home-school cooperation as the research subjects.In the theoretical research section,this article sorts out relevant achievements by collecting and consulting books,papers and other related reference materials in the field of home-school cooperation.In the case of empirical research,this study takes three schools' home-school cooperation practice in Hong Kong as a case,and completely investigate and analyse the practice form as well as support and safeguard system in Hong Kong family-school partnerships.On this basis,this dissertation summarizes the characteristics and experience in Hong Kong home-school cooperation,and further proposes some enlightenment for home-school cooperation in mainland schools through combining with actual situation.The study found that the practical forms of home-school cooperation in Hong Kong can be summarized into three categories,namely home-school communication,parent education and parent participation.The interaction of these three forms contributes to forge family-school partnerships based on mutual and cooperation,thereby promoting the effective implementation of home-school cooperation activities.Hong Kong has established a more comprehensive support and guarantee system forhome-school cooperation.The Education Bureau has introduced relevant policies to guide schools,and has facilitated parents and communities to participate in more school activities.The Education Commission and the Home-School Co-operation Committee actively hear the opinions of all sides in the school,family.In addition,at the school level,most schools have established Parent Teacher Association to promote effective communication.At the regional level,the Parent-Teacher Committee will be established to facilitate the transmission and mutual learning of home-school cooperation experience.Hong Kong Education Commission established a task force on home-school cooperation to take well-targeted measures.The above-mentioned relevant institutions have their respective responsibilities and jointly promote the practice development of home-school cooperation.
