Reading ability is the basis of a person’s comprehensive literacy.It can provide a clear direction for China’s reading literacy assessment by referring to the relevant assessment framework and contents of the PISA reading literacy assessment system to examine the modern Chinese reading test in China’s high school entrance examination.Based on the 2009 to 2018,Shanghai,nanjing,wenzhou,zhejiang examination of Chinese modern literature reading text and questions as the research object,by empirical research as the basic method,referring to the evaluation framework of PISA assessment system,respectively from the text situation,literary forms,text type,cognitive process,questiontopic five dimensions to three modern article reading test questions,summarize its characteristics and put forward the corresponding thinking and Suggestions.Through analysis,it is found that the modern reading test questions in Shanghai,nanjing and wenzhou are quite different,and the test questions in the three places have their own characteristics,but all of them can examine students’ reading quality from multiple aspects,which is in good consistency with some assessment characteristics of the PISA reading quality assessment system.The study also found that the test questions of modern reading in Shanghai,nanjing and wenzhou were relatively low in discontinuous texts,lacking in variety of styles and types of test questions.The above advantages and disadvantages can provide enlightenment and thinking for the construction of reading literacy assessment system suitable for China.
