With the increasing demand for high-skilled application-oriented talents in today's society,the state also pays more and more attention to vocational and technical education.Cognition of occupation is the premise of professional identity.In higher vocational education,students' cognition of occupation is related to students' future career development.Most vocational college students will face employment problems directly after graduation.Strengthening vocational cognition education for vocational college students and helping them to establish correct vocational cognition will help vocational college students better find their own position in future employment,enhance their employment competitiveness and then enable students to accept this occupation from their hearts,enhance the pertinence and stability of employment,enhance their professional identity,and lay the foundation for the development of their career.This study mainly adopts three research methods: literature,questionnaire and interview.First of all,by using the method of literature,I collected the relevant research materials on vocational cognition at home and abroad,and got the specific research progress and relevant theoretical basis on vocational cognition of higher vocational college students at home and abroad.Secondly,through questionnaires,interviews and other research methods,we have obtained detailed empirical data on vocational cognition of higher vocational college students,trying to realize the combination of theory and empirical research,so that the research is more objective.On the basis of the original research,combined with the research results of this study,the existing problems in the current vocational college students' vocational cognition are understood.This paper analyzes the ways of vocational cognition.Combining with the social cognitive professional theory and the cognitive information processing theory,this paper discusses the forming process and characteristics of vocational cognition of vocational college students.After in-depth analysis of relevant data,we find out the problems existing in the current vocational cognition of higher vocational students,and explain the specific reasons behind this situation in combination with the reality and specific research results,in order to arouse the attention of higher vocational schools,families,society and so on to the vocational students.Finally,from the individual students,families,schools,society and other levels,put forward practical and more targeted countermeasures and suggestions,in order to help higher vocational students better find their own career positioning,in their future they can play their potential better.Students not only realize their career ideals,but also identify the profession better,and they can create more social value.
