The art of Chinese calligraphy is extensive and profound,with a long history.It is a valuable treasure of the Chinese nation.We need to make greater efforts to pass on the art of calligraphy and expand its influence.Calligraphy education is one of the main ways to inherit the art of calligraphy.In the primary school curriculum plan,a calligraphy class is set up for one class hour every week to guide the pupils to develop correct writing posture and good writing habits,so as to improve their writing skills.With the deepening of the attention paid to calligraphy education in primary schools,it is found that one class hour of calligraphy class is very limited,which cannot meet the needs of improving the calligraphy quality of primary school students.Therefore,many schools have carried out calligraphy association activities,as an extension and effective supplement to calligraphy class,and some practical effects have been achieved.But,in the study of calligraphy club activities(especially the rural primary school),the overall is still in its infancy,less theoretical research results,it is necessary to strengthen research,to enrich the research achievements of calligraphy education and community activities,improve the quality of the township primary school calligraphy association activities and promote the elementary calligraphy accomplishment,improve teachers' ability to the guidance of calligraphy club activities.In R city Z Town,for example,by the methods of using the method of observation,interview,experience summary method,comprehensive study about the present situation of township primary school calligraphy club activities carried out,based on the perspective of system theory and the nature of the calligraphy association,the Chinese calligraphy society,as a kind of activity system,mainly around the villages and towns in primary schools of calligraphy club activities,types,methods,processes,and evaluate the five dimensions design theory framework,set up a system of villages and towns school calligraphy club activities.Based on the investigation and analysis of the current situation of calligraphy association activities in primary school of R city,this paper summarizes the problems in the development of calligraphy association activities in primary school of R city Z town,such as unclear goals,single types,inflexible methods,incomplete process and unsound evaluation.This paper analyzes the problems existing in thedevelopment of calligraphy association activities in township primary schools.The reasons are as follows.The resources of calligraphy club activities vary greatly between schools and the development is not balanced.Calligraphy association instructor's professional ability is insufficient,the energy is limited;The management system of calligraphy association is not perfect and the execution is not standard.The evaluation methods of calligraphy association activities are single and the incentive effect is not significant.On this basis,the author puts forward some strategies to promote the development of calligraphy association activities in rural primary schools.Effectively integrate school resources and carry out diversified activities;To introduce and cultivate teachers and improve the professional level of teachers of calligraphy associations;To improve the system and promote the standardization of management of calligraphy associations;Change the evaluation concept,expand the subject and type of calligraphy club activity evaluation.Through these promotion strategies,it is expected to provide reference for the development of calligraphy club activities in primary schools,expand the scale of calligraphy education,and better inherit the art of calligraphy.
