Objective: To investigate the influence of core-strength training on the forehand stroke technique level of adolescent tennis players by experimental intervention,so as to provide reference for formulating training scheme for tennis players.Method: 40 adolescent men' s tennis players aged 14 to 16 were selected to be divided into experimental group and control group: the experimental group was for core-strength training(n=20),while the control group was for general-strength training(n=20).The subjects in the two groups were conducted with 3 times of strength training each week,30 minutes once,lasting for 8weeks in total.The tests of core muscular strength and forehand stroke technique of tennis were performed before and after the intervention.Results:(1)Before the intervention,core muscular strength for the two groups had no apparent difference(P > 0.05);after the subjects accepted core-strength training,all the indexes of core muscular strength for the tennis players of the experimental group increased(P < 0.01).While after the subjects accepted general-strength training,only ventral bridge for the tennis players of the control group increased(P<0.01);but side bridge(left and right),lying supine&straightening the hip and waist extension backward did not improve(P>0.05).It could be seen that the various indexes of core muscular strength for the tennis players of experiment group were superior to that for the control group(P<0.05).(2)Before intervention,all the indexes of the level of forehand stroke technique for the two groups had no apparent difference(P>0.05);after the subjects accepted core-strength training,all the indexes of the level of forehand stroke technique for the tennis players of the experiment group increased(P<0.01).While after accepting general-strength training,such indexes as hit depth,hit stability,hit strength,mobility and technical score of the tennis players for the control group increased to some extent(P<0.05),but such indexes as hit accuracy did not increase(P>0.05).It could be seen that the various indexes of the level of forehand stroke technique for the experiment group were superior to that for the control group(P < 0.05).(3)After accepting core-strength training,the largest amplification of hit depth for the tennis players of the experimental group was 8.63%,the amplification of hit stability was 7.5%,and the amplification of hit strength and mobility were 7.03%and 6.45%,While the amplification of hit accuracy and technical score were 6.17%and 4.6%.We found that the amplification of the various indexes of the level of forehand stroke technique for the experimental group were more than that for the control group(P<0.05).Conclusion: The muscular strength ofabdomen,both sides of abdomen,waist,hip and thigh of the adolescent tennis players were effectively enhanced by core-strength training.The amplification of muscular strength of abdomen was the largest.It can be seen that core-strength training plays a role in apparently improving forehand stroke hit depth,hit accuracy,stability,hit strength,mobility and technical score of adolescent tennis players,among which the amplification of hit depth is the largest,while the amplification of technical score is least.
