Background: Health literacy is an important factor which can influence the development of social productivity by affecting people's health.For this reason,the party and the state attach great importance to the introduction of relevant policies and the promulgation of relevant laws and regulations to improve people's health.In order to improve students' health quality and change their healthy behaviors.The "Physical Education and Health" course that directly includes physical education and health knowledge,which also has an important influence on the development of students' healthy behaviors and habits,but only using physical education classes and physical education are not enough.In school,some sport activities and the health behaviors of non-physical teachers also have an indirect impact on the formation of students' health behaviors.Normal students,as teachers 'reserve talents,who pay attention to and study the health literacy level of normal students,especially the health literacy level of non-sports normal students,which plays an important role in improving teachers' overall health literacy level and promoting the development of school sports.Purpose: Through observing the condition and analyzing the effects of health literacy of non-physical normal university students in Jiangsu province,this study wants to find theoretical support for improving health literacy.Methods: This paper uses the methods of questionnaire,mathematical statistics and literature to investigate and analyze the current situation of health literacy of non sports major normal college students in Jiangsu Province.Research results: 1.The overall health literacy rate of normal college students is30.2%.2.Three dimensional possession rate: 36.8% of basic knowledge and concepts,38.7% of healthy behaviors and lifestyle,and 30.1% of healthy skills.3.The rate of six kinds of health literacy problems: scientific health view 67.7%,infectious disease prevention 29.5%,chronic disease prevention 19.8%,safety and first aid 74.2%,basic medical treatment 26.8% and health information 49.5%.Reseach Conclusion:1.The overall health literacy rate of normal college students in Jiangsu Province is at a high level.2.The three-dimensional development of health literacy of normal college students of non sports major in Jiangsu Province is unbalanced.3.The public health knowledge of normal college students who are not majoring in Physical Education in Jiangsu Province is not comprehensive.4.Among the influencing factors of health literacy,grade,gender,househo ld registration and parents' education background are the main influencing facto rs.5.There are many ways to acquire health knowledge for normal college students who are not majoring in Physical Education in Jiangsu ProvinceSuggestions: 1.Strengthen health education and publicity to promote the balanced development of health literacy;2.Focus on the training of health skills of non-sports teachers;3.Strengthen the promotion of knowledge about chronic diseases and infectious diseases;4.Develop a more comprehensive health education system;5.Encourage students to obtain health education knowledge through multiple channels.
