The school where the author works is a rural junior high school in the Yangtze river delta region.Students generally show poor learning initiative,learning perfunctory lazy state,teaching quality and urban schools have a big gap.The philosophy of student-based education emphasizes the importance of students.The education terminal of students is the noumenon of education.It is believed that education should be for students,highly respected and fully dependent on students.Student-based education emphasizes the initiative of students in learning.It believes that students need to internalize themselves to learn everything.Students are the subject of learning,while teachers only play the role of guiding and organizing students' learning.The idea of student-based education meets the needs of rural junior high schools.In order to improve students' initiative of learning geography and academic achievement,this article from the actual work of the countryside junior middle school geography teachers,from the aspect of the operation of the teaching practice opposite the education idea,teaching in the countryside junior middle school geography teaching made a preliminary study of the application,for the countryside junior middle school and the students with poor urban junior high school geography gave birth to provide some references for the teaching.This article through the student questionnaire and the teacher interview understands the geography teaching present situation.The characteristics of students' geography study are as follows: they are interested but unwilling to spend their energy;Lack of effective preview and review,learning completely rely on the classroom;Low classroom participation;The study lacks the method and the skill,does not pay attention to the knowledge internalization;The lack of a mental map makes it difficult to learn geography.Teachers fail to design and conduct teaching from the perspective of students.In view of the situation of learning,the principles,strategies and modes of geography teaching under the student-oriented education concept are worked out by grasping the connotation of the student-oriented education concept and the characteristics of teaching under the student-oriented education concept.Based on the principle of taking students as the basis,taking measures according to local conditions and highlighting the attributes of geography,the practice research of junior middle school geography teaching is carried out based on the concept of student-based education.At the level of teachers,the paper puts forward the strategies of making classroom atmosphere pleasant and teaching content situational.At the level of students,the strategies proposed mainly include dynamic stratification strategy,group cooperative learning strategy,activity-oriented teaching process strategy,learning-before-teaching strategy,habit-forming strategy and task-driven strategy..This paper applies the strategy to the actual teaching and summarizes the new teaching mode,consolidation lesson and recitation lesson in junior middle school geography teaching under the student-oriented education concept.In addition,a case study is presented to show how the teaching under the concept of birth based education is implemented in the new teaching,consolidation lesson and recitation lesson of junior middle school geography.Finally,the students in the experimental class were surveyed by questionnaire to understand the implementation effect.Although the teaching experiment only received feedback for one semester,the questionnaire showed that the teaching under the concept of birth based education could improve the students' learning initiative,improve the teaching quality,promote the students' active development and let the students bloom their vitality in junior high school.The teaching under the student-based education concept will receive very good results in the junior high school with poor student resources,and it is necessary and valuable to insist on and promote.
