A Comparative Study Of Liang Shuming's And Fei Xiaotong's Rural Construction Thoughts

China has always been a big agricultural country.The prosperity of the countryside means the prosperity of the country,and the decline of the countryside means the decline of the country.Rural development is an unavoidable and arduous task in the process of modernization in China.The proposal of the "Rural Revitalization Strategy" highlights the importance of the "three rural issues" in the new era.As early as the 1920 s and 1930 s,"rural relief" has become the consensus of people with insight,some of them choose to practice,others choose to write books,made different contributions in rural construction.Liang Shu-ming and Fei Xiao-tong were both rural construction ideologists at the time.To sort out their rural construction thoughts,compare the similarities and differences between their development background,development theories and practical results,and extract their ideological values will provide useful inspirations for cracking the dilemma of rural social development,promoting rural social development and construction,solving rural social development problems,and realizing rural revitalization.Through systematizing and summarizing the rural construction thoughts of the two ideologists,this dissertation analyzes the similarities between Liang Shu-ming's and Fei Xiao-tong's rural construction thoughts in terms of the environment in which they originated,the conception of development,and the essence of their thoughts,compares the great differences in the course of development,the judgment of Chinese social structure,the concrete thought of rural construction and the results of practice.Selecting the modernization theory and community development theory to evaluate the value orientation reflected in Liang Shu-ming's and Fei Xiao-tong's rural construction ideas,combining with the general requirements of the "Rural Revitalization Strategy" of "thriving businesses,pleasant living environment,social etiquette and civility,effective governance,prosperity",will find the practical implications in Liang Shu-ming's and Fei Xiao-tong's rural construction thought of such aspects as attaching importance to farmers' professional cooperative organization,digging up excellent rural traditional culture,introducing talents to rural areas,enhancing villagers' sense of participation in rural development and strengthening rural infrastructure construction and public service supply.
