Research purpose:this study takes the two systems of Latin dance and Ballroom dance in sports dance as the experimental intervention means, integrates them into the regular college physical education, studies the influence of different kinds of sports dance on the static balance ability of college students, and provides certain theoretical basis for the promotion of sports dance in colleges and universities.Research method:120 female students from Nanjing Normal University were selected and divided into three groups according to their classes. Each group of 40students was given an 80-minute teaching experiment once a week for 16 weeks. In the regular group, normal teaching was given according to the students'public PE class request.Latin group in addition to the normal teaching added Latin dance teaching; In addition to normal teaching, ballroom dance group added ballroom dance teaching. Before and after the intervention, foot pressure tester was used to measure the balance ability of the three groups.Research results:(1)The Latin group:the center of gravity movement trajectory of the left foot is404.52±136.16mm before the experiment, and 335.37±175.72mm after the experiment, showing a significant difference(P<0.05).Before the experiment, the right foot is 506.07±219.24mm,and after the experiment,322.27±146.66mm,showing a very significant difference(P<0.01).Envelop area of the right foot is148.20±112.55mm~2before the experiment and 79.76±59.90mm~2after the experiment, showing a very significant difference(P<0.01).In the ballroom dance group:the center of gravity movement of the left foot is 417.30±225.14mm before and221.30±131.56mm after(P<0.01).Before the experiment, the center of gravity movement of the right foot is 479.55±171.72mm,and after the experiment is173.52±96.35mm,showing a very significant difference(P<0.01).The envelop area of the left foot is 144.07±96.31mm~2before the experiment, and 38.86±45.02mm~2after the experiment, showing a very significant difference(P<0.01).Before the experiment, there is a significant difference of 159.87±141.68mm~2in the right foot and28.92±27.53mm~2after the experiment(P<0.01).In the conventional group:there is a significant difference(P<0.05)between 69.27±9.56mm before and 64.97±7.99mm after the center of gravity movement track foot test.(2)Comparison between the Latin group and the ballroom dance group:the center of gravity movement trajectory in the left foot of the ballroom dance group is221.30±131.56mm,and that in the Latin group is 335.37±175.72mm,with significant difference(P<0.05).The right foot ballroom dance group 173.52±96.35mm,the Latin group 322.27±146.66mm,there is a very significant difference(P<0.01).The enveloping-area of left foot is 38.86±45.02mm~2in the ballroom dance group and93.42±86.41mm~2in the Latin group(P<0.05).There is a significant difference between the right foot modern group,28.92±27.53mm~2,and the Latin group,79.76±59.90mm~2.(P<0.05).Research conclusion:(1)Compared with the conventional teaching,Latin dance and ballroom dance can improve the static balance ability of college students more significantly.(2)The improvement of static balance ability of college students by Latin dance and ballroom dance is mainly reflected in one foot, which is characterized by the more significant improvement of left foot balance ability of college students by ballroom dance and the more significant improvement of right foot balance ability of college students by Latin dance.(3)Conventional teaching can only improve the balance ability of feet.
