From The Perspective Of IBDP, The Thematic Experiments Are Integrated Into The Preliminary Practice Of High School Physics Teaching

The International Baccalaureate Diploma Programme(IBDP)is a two-year International Programme offered by the International Baccalaureate for students aged 16 to 19.With its unique curriculum and scientific evaluation mechanism,IBDP has gained recognition from universities worldwide.In this paper,IBDP is introduced into Senior High School Physics Teaching.The main point is that there is a part of the evaluation system of physics which is Monographic Experiment,which has the particularity of teaching form and the characteristic of fine evaluation according to experimental research report.On the basis of reading IBDP Physics Examination Guide and relevant literature,the author first introduces IBDP project and its Monographic Experiment,and discusses the theory of carrying out special experiment in Senior High School Physics Teaching.Secondly,10 special experimental research reports of IB class in a high school in Nanjing were selected as samples for investigation and analysis.It was found that(1)mechanics experiment is the first choice for IB students' monographic experiment project,(2)individual students were able to achieve a full workload and a high level of research depth in the monographic experiment.(3)IB students were generally able to complete the presentation of the original data and the analysis and interpretation of the data in the experimental report,however,the degree of completion of the experiment design considering safety,environment,moral issues and comparing the experimental results with the accepted scientific facts is low.(4)the format and layout of some students' experimental research reports need to be strengthened.Thirdly,on the basis of the detailed evaluation rules of IBDP physics monographic experiments and the related theories of Physics Experiments,this paper discusses the principles of objective,theme,research and evaluation Of High School Physics Monographic Experiments.This paper also discusses the content selection of the monographic experiment from three sources: the students' experiment,the students' after-class life and the IYPT contest.At last,this paper finished the detailed teaching design case of the special experiment "exploring the expression of kinetic energy",and carried out the teaching practice of the special experiment in senior high school with "friction vibrator",one of the questions in the IYPT contest,a detailed guide for writing the special experimental research report is given for reference.
