Historical Research Of The Evolution Of The Industrial Structure In Shanxi Since The Founding Of The PRC

Since the founding of the PRC,Shanxi Province achieved a rapid economic development,with its advantage of resources,relying on the national development strategy and industrial policy.Shanxi has formed on a single industrial structure which over-reliance on the coal industry and its primary processing industry and also formed a certain "path dependence".Unreasonable and elementary industrial structure seriously undermined Shanxi's economic development potential,fundamentally restricted Shanxi's future economic development and sustainability.This thesis utilize industrial economics theory and literature analysis method,combining history logic analysis,quantitative analysis and qualitative analysis,to research the historical evolution process of industrial in Shanxi through the economic history perspective.To find the context,the evolution of characteristics and impact of Shanxi's industrial structure,and find suggestions for the optimization of industrial structure in Shanxi.The main innovation of the paper are:it fully and systematically combs the course of Shanxi's industry structure evolution since the founding of the PRC from the perspective of historical evolution,combined industrial economics theory;combined resource endowments,technology,industrial policy and market demand of the four factors,the evolution mechanism and path of evolution of Shanxi's industrial structure is theoretical analyzed.This research can provide a certain theory guidance and historical significance for economic restructure,adjustment of industry structure and making industry policies in Shanxi,and at the same time enrich and improve the theoretical research on resource-based regional industrial structure which can help Shanxi's industrial structure tend to be reasonable,advanced and diversified,and promote its transformation economic sustainable development.The main conclusions of this thesis:First,since the founding of the PRC,Shanxi's industrial structure,adapt to economic development background,has experienced from rational to irrational,to be more reasonable.Second,resource endowment,technology,industrial policy and market demand have played a major role in the evolution of industrial structure in Shanxi's history.Third,different period of the evolution process of Shanxi's industrial structure has different characteristics.From the founding of the PRC to the period of reform and opening up,its industrial structure tends to be heavy features.And after the period of reform and opening up to the late 90's,the deformation of resource industry rapid development,makes Shanxi's industrial structure primary and simplification.Since the late 90's,along with the increase of industrial structure adjustment strength and adjust to the idea of change,Shanxi's industrial structure tend to be reasonable,advanced and diversified.
