The Theory And Application Of Industrial Structure In Shanxi

Based on the sufficient, investigation on the current state of the industrial structure in Shanxi, the thesis classifies and analyses plenty of materials and statistics through normal and empirical research as well as qualitative and quan(?) itative research. Under the guidance of the theories of the regional economy and industrial economy, it studies systematically the theory of restructuring of industry in Shanxi and its application. Firstly, the thesis evaluates and analyses the regional and industrial economic theories and puts forward a Five-Time-Industry Classification Method on the basis of the knowledge economy. Secondly, it thoroughly studies the status quo, the major problems and their causes existing in the industrial structure in Shanxi. And finally, by adopting the methods of Input-Output Analysis, Data Envelopmemt Analysis and Analytic Hierarchy Process, the thesis proposes several feasible strategies on restructuring industry in Shanxi: (1)dominant industries selection, (2)reforming and optimizing and updating technology of the traditional industries, (3)the high tech development , (4)readjustment of the ownership structure, (5) rational layoul of the industrial structure in Shanxi and so on, which forms a comparatively complete theoretical and practical system on studying the restructuring of the industry in Shanxi.
