Heavy demand is generated in subway and railway network,with urban population further expanding in developing countries and economic development having higher requirements for transport capacity.Meanwhile,the existed railway network and equipments in developed countries are also needed to be updated and replaced urgently.The world is stepping into a new peak of its building boom in rail transit,and unprecedented opportunities for the rail transit industry are coming.In order to further improve international competitiveness,actively participate in the Belt and Road strategy,and become a pioneer in deepened reform of Chinese central SOEs,CSR and CNR were merged in the principle of reciprocity to form a listed company named CRRC Corporation Limited(A-shares plus H-shares)in June,2015,with the approval of the State Council and SASAC,PRC.In this context,the findings of many scholars were searched,and then summarized on the basis of the theory of enterprise's international competitiveness.A comparative analysis was then performed to investigate the environment,business condition,product condition and market condition of 6 major manufacturers of rail transit equipments including CRRC.This context is trying to establish a testing and rating system of international competitiveness,to evaluate the international competitiveness of CRRC and the other 5 manufacturers by means of factor analysis from comprehensive perspective including financial capacity,production level,technical strength,current situation in international market competitiveness,and ability to expand market.From comparison and comprehensive analysis,it indicates that CRRC ranks the first in comprehensive international competitiveness and presents strong international competitiveness in market share and production capacity.However,the corporation should also draw lessons from major manufacturers overseas in terms of marketing ability,a complete range of product lines,and financial capacity.Considering CRRC is a newly merged corporation with low sales share in international market,suggestions from promoting technical merit to marketing ability and so on in this text were provided to help CRRC expand its international market and improve international competitiveness.
