Analysis On Competitiveness Of High-tech Industry In Wuhan East Lake

The second decade of the 21 st century,the pressure of the global economic downturn continued to increase,domestic facing the challenges of overcapacity and industrial restructuring,high-tech industry has become the strategic fulcrum of our economic restructuring and development.Wuhan East Lake High-tech Zone as the second National Innovation Demonstration Zone after the Beijing Zhongguancun approved by the State Council,expects to be a national strategic emerging industry cluster,bears significant responsibility and mission to promote the development of high-tech industry in terms of innovation.It has formed four major dominated high-tech industry,which are optoelectronics information,bio-pharmaceutical,environmental protection and green energy,high-end equipment manufacturing industry.By analyzing the competitiveness level of the Wuhan East Lake high-tech industrial,it has a strong practical significance to enhance industrial competitiveness of Wuhan East Lake High-Tech industrial.By analyzing indicator data of the Wuhan East Lake High-Tech Industry from 2002 to 2013,High-tech industry scale of Wuhan East Lake was expanding year by year,four major dominated industries had achieved rapid growth,having a more prominent industry profitability in the region.Optoelectronics information industry had the largest scale and the highest maturity,bio-pharmaceutical industry,high-end equipment manufacturing,environmental protection and green energy industry had taken shape,but needed to enhance the level of industrial clustering,the potential for industrial development need to be further developed.Than the paper builds the high-tech industry competitiveness evaluation model in three dimensions,industrial investment competitiveness,industrial output competitiveness and innovation potential of industrial competitiveness.Empirical estimates the competitiveness of high-tech industry of the eight national first-class high-tech zone by factor analysis,including Wuhan East Lake High-tech Zone,Beijing Zhongguancun High-tech Zone,Shanghai Zhangjiang High-tech Zone,etc.From empirical results,Wuhan East Lake High Technology Industrial Competitiveness score ranked last to No.3 from 2007 to 2013,the high-tech industry competitiveness still a large gap compared with Beijing's Zhongguancun,and Shanghai Zhangjiang,however,the growth rate of industrial competitiveness are faster than both and the gap Gradually narrow.Compared to the Shenzhen High-tech Zone,Chengdu Hi-tech Zone and Xi'an High-tech Zone,the advantage of competitiveness of Wuhan East Lake High-tech industry is not obvious.In industrial investment competitiveness,Wuhan East Lake should focus on strengthening investment in internal expenditure of science and technology activities.In industrial output competitiveness,Wuhan East Lake need to expand the scale of the industry,improve the level of industrial clustering,enhance industrial profitability.In innovation potential of industrial competitiveness,Wuhan East Lake should take the advantage as the country's second largest intelligence-intensive areas,localized into industrial advantage,focusing on enhancing the number of the scientific and technological activities and the number of college education.Finally,this paper presents the following recommendations: Firstly,create a good environment for the development of high-tech industries,promote industrial cluster development;Secondly,to promote high-tech industries continue to upgrade and enhance industry profitability;Thirdly,improve the social financing system,strengthen investment in research;Fourthly,improve Talents training system,to enhance the attractiveness of the region for talent.
