Research On The Influencing Factors Of Foreign Trade Competitiveness Of High-tech Industry In Central China

During the period of economic transformation and upgrading in China,the development of high-tech industry plays an important role.With the implementation of the strategy of the rise of central China,the central region of the high-tech industry has an unprecedented development.The number of high-tech enterprises and corporate profits increased year by year,but as a whole,there is still a big gap between the central region and the eastern region.At the same time,from the foreign trade competitiveness of High-tech industry,only the export value of high-tech industries in Henan province ranks among the top ten in the country in the central region,therefore there is a strong room for development.Based on the above background,in this paper,the factors affecting the competitiveness of high-tech industries in the central region are analyzed,this paper hopes to give reasonable suggestions to the development of the central region and provide references to the 13 th Five-Year plans.Based on the previous studies,this paper broaden the Michael Porter diamond Model and researched some status of the foreign trade competitiveness of high-tech industries in the central region.Because of “The strategy of the rise of Central China” and “The planning of Central Plains Economic zone”,high-tech industries in Central China have developed rapidly.From the export structure of the industry,the electronic information and communication equipment manufacturing industry is the key industry in the central region.From the competitiveness of provinces,the export value of high-tech industries in Henan province is higher than that of other provinces,followed by Anhui,Hubei and Hunan provinces,and Shanxi,Jiangxi provinces have relatively less delivery value.Meanwhile,On the basis of present situation analysis,the data of this article are from 1998-2015 in central region,with the methods of fixed effect test and random effects test and Hausman test,the empirical results show that PGDP,EDV,GINV,RD,LOAN,GNUM,LQ,OPEN are the major factors affecting the competitiveness of high-tech industries in the central region.Then through time series study,the main factors influencing the foreign trade competitiveness of provinces in the high-tech industry are discussed,the empirical results show that: R&D and investment strength and the number of enterprises in the foreign trade competitiveness of high tech industry in Henan Province are the significant factors;the main influencing factors of development of high technology industry in Shanxi province are GDP per capital and high-tech industrial export delivery value and opening degree;the main influencing factors of development of high-tech industry in Hunan Province as the high-tech industry export delivery value and the amount of investment in fixed assets;for Hubei Province,the main influencing from industry export delivery value,fixed assets investment and R&D.In Anhui Province,the most influential factor is EDV,followed by per capital income,and the fixed assets investment and the number of enterprises have played a relatively weak role in the competitiveness of high-tech industries in Anhui province.For Jiangxi Province,because of the relatively weak development of high-tech industries,the main influencing factor is the degree of industrial agglomeration.At last,based on the results,the author puts forward relevant suggestions and countermeasures for the central region and the provinces.It will provide reference for the rise of the development of central region and the promotion of the competitiveness of the central and new high-tech industries.
