Research On The Evaluation Of Technological Innovation Capability Of High-tech Industry In Central China

The high-tech industry is a highly technical and knowledge-intensive industry group,with highly dynamic and potential for development,and to some extent,the technological innovation capability of high-tech industry directly reflects the national level of science and technology.The central part of China has the location advantage of linking east and west in the economic development,and it occupies a decisive position in China's overall development strategy,so,the level and pace of development of the technological innovation capability of high-tech industry in central region have a direct impact on the national level and pace of development.In order to improve the technological innovation capability of high-tech industry in central China,the influencing factors should be found out to accurately evaluate the level of technological innovation.Based on the development general situation of the high-tech industry and the level of innovation ability in central region,the research has important theoretical and practical significance.The paper introduces the development situation of high-tech industry first,and based on the technological innovation theory and available researches,it builds the evaluation index system of the technological innovation capability of high-tech industry from four aspects of innovation investment,transformation,output and environment support.Using the sequential global principal component analysis(pca),the paper takes the national average as a reference,using statistical data from 2009 to 2013 to analyze the technological innovation capability of high-tech industry in central region.Compared with the national average,the results have shown that:(1)the technological innovation capability of high-tech industry in six provinces of central China is lower than the national average;(2)the output of technological innovation capability of six provinces is lower than the national average,the transformation ability of technology innovation basically equals to national average,and the technology investment capability is higher than national average.Finally,based on the results of empirical analysis,the paper puts forward some countermeasures and suggestions for the improvement of technological innovation capability of high-tech industry in central China from two perspectives of government and enterprises.
