Research On The Main Obstacle Factors And Countermeasures Of Fujian High-end Equipment Manufacturing Industry Under The New Normal

Since 2014,The Chinese economy shows a "New Normal",The rate of growth is slowing,the industrial structure is upgrading and the force of growth is changing,which would last for a long time.Under such a background,as the foundation of Chinese economy,manufacturing industry will be the main battlefield to meet this challenge.Equipment manufacturing industry is the pillar industry which can provide production technology for the growth of national economy.As the high-end part of the equipment manufacturing industry,The high-end equipment manufacturing industry is the most important force to this challenge.In 2015,The state "Made in China 2025"proposes that in 2025 China would achieve the conversation from "big manufacturing nation" to "powerful manufacturing nation" and appoint Quanzhou as the first pilot city,which shows the unique strategic position of Fujian high-end equipment manufacturing industry.Therefore,to identify the main obstacles in Fujian high-end equipment manufacturing and give corresponding countermeasures to the obstacles,can not only enhance the industrial competitiveness in Fujian high-end equipment manufacturing,but also can effectively promote the pace to industrial power and complete economic transformation and upgrading of the equipment manufacturing industry under the "new normal".Firstly,This research build an obstacles evaluation system by reviewing available research by foreign and domestic researchers in high-end equipment manufacturing industry and combining present development in Fujian high-end equipment manufacturing,which including technology innovation,industry strength,economic and sustainable development in four areas.Because of the availability of data,this paper select electronic and communication equipment manufacturing,electronic computer and office equipment manufacturing,medical equipment and instrumentation manufacturing as the empirical research object of Fujian high-end equipment manufacturing industry.Secondly,analysis the comprehensive development trend of the three sub-sectors from 2005 to 2014 by principal component analysis(PCA)and measures the weight of each factor.Thirdly,this paper introduces a concept of "obstacle amount" and calculated the obstacle amount for each index factor and classification index to discriminate the main obstacle in Fujian High-end equipment manufacturing industry.Finally,This paper put forward some corresponding countermeasures and Suggestions respectively to overcome the obstacles on both government and enterprises level.In the final of the article,this paper gives a summarize and points out the existing limitations and future research directions.This study found that the development of Fujian high-end equipment manufacturing industry is too far for balance.The electronic and communication equipment manufacturing is best,but the medical equipment and instrumentation manufacturing is too weak,which has a higher demand in high technology.The main obstacle factors of Fujian high-end equipment manufacturing industry includes the lack of technological innovation capability,industrial strength and economy performance,which embodies in the R&D investment,output value,value added value,export delivery value,total sales,total profit and so on.
