With the development of social economy,companies need to constantly respond to changing economic environment.Creativity is seen as an important means for organizations to flourish in a dynamic environment and respond to unforeseen challenges.Therefore,how to motivate employees' creativity becomes an hotspots that organizations concern.In an organization,the most closely related to the employees is their own work.Under the general trend of professionalism,the match between employees and posts began to receive the organizational importance.The concept of Person-Job Fit originates from the Person-Environment Fit theory and mainly refers to the matching of individual characteristics and job characteristics.In the past,many studies have conducted in-depth research on the influence of certain dimensions of the human-environment matching theory,such as value matching and Person-Organization Fit on innovation or creativity.However,at present,the relationship between Person-Job Fit and the employees'creativity are still rarely explored.This paper explains the impact of Person-Job Fit on employee creativity based on the perspective of Conservation of Resource Theory.Also in the study explores the mediating role of Work Engagement.Finally,this study also introduces McCllland's needs theory to propose two possible moderate variables namely need for affiliation and need for achievement.In this study,the mature scale is used to conduct a questionnaire survey.The questionnaire is distributed to small and medium-sized enterprises in the Internet,equipment manufacturing,computer,finance and other industries.The distribution of questionnaire is divided into two phases to reduce the Common Method Variance.For the 251 valid questionnaires collected,this study has conducted a reliability and validity test,correlation analysis and regression analysis to test the theoretical hypotheses.The results of the study confirm that the Person-Job Fit can positively affect the individual's creativity,and that the Work Engagement plays a partial mediation in the relationship between the two.At the same time,the research data also shows that need for achievement can positively adjust the influence of Person-Job Fit on the creativity through Work Engagement.
