There has been a lot of research on the relationship between team task conflict and business performance in the academic community.However,there are still many disputes about the relationship between the two.Some scholars believe that team task conflict is positively related to corporate performance,and some scholars believe that the relationship is negative.Scholars have also provided various explanations for the dispute,but this dispute has not yet been resolved.From the perspective of strategic decision-making process,this study focuses on the mechanism of the task conflict of entrepreneurial teams on entrepreneurial performance based on the theory of Upper Echelons Theory,that is,the mediating effect of strategic decision-making quality.We also discussed the moderating role team cohesion played in the relationship between team task conflicts and the quality of strategic decisions.This article takes the entrepreneurial team as the research object,collected a total of 130 valid questionnaires.After rigorous statistical analysis of the data,the following conclusions are drawn:(1)The entrepreneurial team's task conflict has a significant positive impact on entrepreneurial performance;(2)Entrepreneurial team task conflict has a significant positive impact on strategic decision quality;(3)Strategic decision quality has a significant positive impact on entrepreneurial performance;(4)Strategic decision making plays a partially mediating role in the task conflict and entrepreneurial performance.(5)Team cohesion plays a positive moderating role in the relationship between task conflict and strategic decision-making quality of the entrepreneurial team.The main contributions of this study are:(1)Proposed the mediating role of strategic decision-making quality in the relationship between task conflict and entrepreneurial performance,and provided a theoretical basis for explaining the relationship between task conflict and entrepreneurial performance;(2)explored the moderating role team cohesion played in the relationship between team task conflicts and the quality of strategic decisions.(3)Providing some theoretical guidance for entrepreneurial practice,helping entrepreneurs to correctly understand team conflicts and team cohesion,and using team task conflicts to help companies make high-quality strategic decisions.
