Research On Current Situation And Problems Of Endowment Insurance System For Urban And Rural Residents In Shalang Town,Kunming City Under The Background Of Urbanization

Yunnan Province is a large agricultural province inhabited by ethnic minorities in the Southwest.In recent years,with the support of the Central Government,the economy has developed rapidly and the process of urbanization has been accelerating.Shalang Township is a combined urban-rural transfer area of Bai people living in Kunming City,Yunnan Province.Residents of the area became residents of “agricultural transition villages” in 2012.They are the object of guarantee for the urban and rural residents' pension insurance system,and also the specific experience of the urbanization process..The development of urbanization has brought both opportunities and challenges to the implementation of the endowment insurance system for urban and rural residents in the region.The transformation and upgrading of industrial structure,the influx of labor resources,and the strong support of fiscal funds have broadened the channels for the raising of urban and rural residents' pension insurance funds and raised the overall level of payment,but also ensured the level of insurance participation and treatment.,Fund investment operation and management put forward higher difficulty requirements.This paper uses the literature research method to sort out the current situation of the implementation of urban and rural residents' endowment insurance system,and uses a questionnaire survey to select 200 residents in the area to conduct surveys in the form of convenient sampling.According to the questionnaire analysis,there is a low willingness to participate in the insurance.Problems such as the low level of payment and the single way of understanding the policy,and the reasons behind the problem were discussed.The reasons for the lack of policy publicity,lack of confidence of residents on the future trend,low level of residents' education,and low level of participation in the insurance industry are all reasons.Affected the advancement of urban and rural residents pension insurance system.In this regard,this paper proposes to seize the opportunity of urbanization to develop characteristic industries to broaden funding channels and increase the amount of funds raised,increase propaganda and publicity,improve service quality,further establish network information platforms,and control investment risks of pension funds.We will improve the investment mechanism and investment environment as well as promote multidisciplinary integration studies and other proposals,with a view to making China's pension insurance system more perfect and fully play its role of protecting and redistributing.
