Aviation product R&D projects are characterized by high technical complexity,high technical integration,long R&D cycle,large number of research personnel,and many professional fields involved.The traditional project organization structure is mostly a project +function matrix structure.It is difficult to meet the need for communication and collaboration among the participants in the R&D process of aviation products,and it is not compatible with concurrent projects.The IPT organization model has been successfully practiced by internationally advanced airlines and outstanding companies.Therefore,it is important to research how to apply the IPT model to China’s aviation product R&D projects,and clarify the application environment of IPT and traditional organization structure through the simulation.The main tasks completed are as follows:(1)Through literature research and China aviation product R&D company research,the characteristics of the aviation product R&D projects and project management status were studied and analyzed.Organization management is a shortcoming of project management.The traditional organization structure has the problems of strong independence,lacking of overall awareness,difficulty in unifying the power and responsibility of multiple leaders,and difficulties in communication and coordination.As a result,the project cannot deliver products on time.The traditional organizational model is not suitable for the R&D of concurrent engineering and integrated products,and it is difficult to fundamentally improve organizational operational efficiency.(2)On the basis of IPT related literature research and case analysis,combined with the actual situation of China’s aviation product R&D project,this thesis analyzes how the IPT model is applied to aviation product R&D projects,and presents an IPT-based aviation product R&D project organizational structure design scheme.(3)Based on the characteristics of aerospace product R&D projects,this thesis designs a computer simulation framework,and constructs an agent-based organizational structure simulation model.(4)By computer modeling and simulation methods to simulate the process of tasks within the organization,this thesis quantitatively analyzes the progress and cost of projects under different organizational structures.This thesis studies the impacts of project factors on the traditional organizational structure and the efficiency of the IPT organizational structure through simulation experiment,which includes level of organization,the number of participants,the degree of synergy between different disciplines,and the complexity of a single technology.The project environment adapted to the two organizational structures is summarized,and the IPT model is verified to be more applicable to aviation product R&D projects.The research conclusions of this thesis will have certain theoretical and practical significance for the aviation industry explores how to shorten aviation product R&D cycle,reduce research costs,and improve research and R&D capabilities through organization management.At the same time,it can also be used as a reference for the management of other complex product R&D projects.
