Study On Overseas Warehouse Location Of Cross-border E-commerce Enterprises Along The Belt And Road

Since the launch of the Belt and Road strategy in 2013,the Chinese government has successively introduced a series of related policies and regulations to support the development of export cross-border e-commerce logistics and support the overseas warehouses' layout along the route,which can improve China's exports.The competitiveness of products along the Belt and Road.The new cross-border e-commerce logistics model based on overseas warehouses can improve cross-border e-commerce logistics transfer efficiency,reduce transaction costs,and promote trade facilitation.This paper establishes a cross-border e-commerce overseas warehouse location model with the minimum total cost(including transportation costs,storage processing costs,and time penalty costs).Set the number of different hub nodes and take 33 countries for radiating network design.The results show that the cross-border e-commerce use of overseas warehouse model as the main logistics method can effectively reduce the total cost and achieve economies of scale.This overseas warehouse location method has certain reference value for China's cross-border e-commerce in the development of overseas warehouses along the Belt and Road.The first chapter of the article first describes the background of the topic and analyzes the research background,research significance,research methods and innovations.The second chapter mainly combs the literature about cross-border logistics and overseas warehouse under the background of the Belt and Road strategy.Through sorting out and researching the literature,the current research on the cross-border e-commerce under the Belt and Road strategy has been sorted out.At present,the research of domestic and foreign scholars focuses on the cross-border logistics model and its influencing factors,regarding the Belt and Road.Research with overseas warehouses began gradually in 2015,and proposed a new cross-border logistics model-overseas warehouses.The third chapter analyzes the current situation of cross-border e-commerce enterprises establishing overseas warehouses along the Belt and Road,describes the development history of overseas warehouses,and the current status of cross-border e-commerce companies building overseas warehouses along the Belt and Road.The empirical analysis section establishes the model by minimizing the total cost of transportation costs,storage processing costs,and time penalty costs.Using MATLAB for solving calculations,the minimum cost for selecting a hub node in 33 countries and the specific location of the pivot point areobtained.Finally,corresponding policy recommendations are given for the location and construction of overseas warehouses along the Belt and Road.
