With the rapid development of industrialization and urbanization in Dongguan City,the proportion of agricultural output decreased,more and more people chose jobs of industry and service industry rather than agriculture.In such a case of the transition from traditional agriculture to modern agriculture,it is of great significance to develop urban agriculture and promote urban and rural integration of Dongguan.This article steps through with the analysis of the agricultural economy development,agricultural industrialization and residents live of Dongguan C ity,and puts forward the corresponding suggestions and countermeasures for the development of urban agriculture in Dongguan C ity.The characteristics of urban agriculture in Dongguan were as follows:(1)Although Dongguan C ity has developed 192 agriculture organizations,29 agricultural leading enterprises,52 provincial agricultural brand products,and it should improve the development of large-scale,standardized agricultural production enterprises.(2)Up to now,13 agricultural industrial parks with league of more than 30 agricultural enterprises and scientific research units have achieved nearly 50 high-quality projects and annual sales of about 200 million yuan.As the main body of agricultural technology research and development,it should further improve the level of scientific and technological to enhance leisure function.Moreover,agricultural industrial parks should extend advanced and mature technologies according to the regional development.(3)In terms of residents live,Dongguan has a better manifestation in urban afforestation,public service management and highway popularization.The ratio of the first,second and third industry employees was 0.05: 0.49: 0.45,and the ratio of urban and rural per disposable income was 1: 0.62 or so.To improve the income of rural residents and agriculture science and education,agricultural professionals and farmers should be more concerned,the excellent personnel training system should be established to cultivate and expend high-quality agricultural talent teams.The problems of urban agriculture development in Dongguan were as follow:(1)The agricultural investment was relatively low,and the proportion of GDP of the second and third industries in Do ngguan was increasing but the agricultural development remained in the doldrums,leading to insufficient scale and effect of agricultural development.(2)The degree of industrial management should to be improved,and the number of agricultural leading enterprises and agricultural products should to be increased in particular.(3)Modern agricultural industrial parks should be further fully utilized according to their regional characteristics,which will play an important role in the urban agriculture leisure tourism,science and education and other functions.(4)By the reduction of arable land and gap of urban and rural income,the number and quality of farmers in Dongguan C ity was insufficient.Based on the above research,the author puts forward to count ermeasures and suggestions for the further development of urban agriculture in Dongguan C ity:(1)To strengthen the support of agricultural policy and capital investment,the government should plan the development of urban agriculture according to the act ual situation of Dongguan C ity.More importantly,the funds of urban agriculture should take diversification stratagem to guide community,enterprises,individuals and other forms of investment to expand funding sources.(2)To accelerate the industrializa tion,leading agricultural enterprises should be grown and expanded,which promotes the development of the agricultural industry.In addition,further development and utilization of modern agricultural industrial parks also should be taken account.(3)Relying on the functions of modern agricultural industry park like research and education,technology development and promotion system with well economic efficiency should be set up to improve local science and technology.(4)Dongguan City should introduce q ualified personnel and carry out cooperative projects with research institutes,and organize the agriculture training for famers.
