At present stage the economy of China is in new normal.With the limitation of resource and decrease of demographic dividend,the ’extensive way’ of economic growth is unsustainable.The transformation and upgrading of economy is imminent.High-tech industry which has high creativity,correlation and growth is becoming the new power for economic development.Nowadays,the growth of High-tech industry has influenced by industrial convergence deeply.Therefore,it has important significance for economic growth to analyze the mode and the path of industrial convergence promoting high-tech industry growth.This paper analyzes the paths of high-tech industrial convergence promoting industrial growth and makes empirical test for the paths by using structural equation model.The paper has five chapters.The first chapter puts forward the background,purpose and significance of the research,collects and reviews the related research has done by overseas and domestic scholars.The second chapter introduces the development status of high-tech industry and tries to find the motivation,mode and effect of industrial convergence promoting high-tech industry growth.The third chapter makes some assumptions about the paths of industrial convergence promoting high-tech industry growth based on the theoretical analysis.The forth chapter uses structural equation model to examine the paths proposed in chapter three.The fifth chapter makes the conclusions and put forward some suggestions.The intentions of this paper have following aspects.This paper considers that industrial convergence promote high-tech industry growth by improving innovative ability,R&D efficiency,market competition,technological diffusion and resource integration.The paper builds the related index system based on the theoretical analysis and uses SEM to examine the five paths.The results show that: the path industrial convergence→resource integration→ high-tech industry growth don’t pass the examination;the other paths pass the examination.The path industrial convergence→innovative ability→high-tech industry growth and industrial convergence→ R&D efficiency→high-tech industry growth have high effect,the values are 0.427 and 0.502.The effect of paths industrial convergence→innovative ability→high-tech industry growth and industrial convergence→R&D efficiency→high-tech industry growth are lower,the values are 0.161 and 0.166.In general,the effect of industrial convergence promoting high-tech industry growth is significant,the total effect is 1.256.The effect of industrial convergence promoting high-tech industry growth will be higher if we consider the interaction between the paths,which will be increased to 1.579.The promotion of industrial convergence to high-tech industry growth is mainly achieved by improving high-tech industrial innovative ability and R&D efficiency.
