Study On The Agricultural Input And Output Efficiency Of Guizhou Province Based On DEA

China has progressively been one of the world's largest agricultural producers.The sustainable development of agriculture shows that China's comprehensive strength is literally related to the people's livelihood and the national economy.It is estimated that by 2020,a well-off society will be completed to reduce rural poverty in China.However,the development of rural areas lies in the agriculture,therefore,the basic way to develop agriculture is to promote the transformation from traditional agriculture to modern agriculture,to vigorously promote the extensive agricultural management model to the intensive mode of operation,and to accelerate the process of agricultural modernization in China.For China,the efficiency of agricultural output is an important way to realize agricultural modernization and sustainable development in China.Improving agricultural production capacity can be strengthened from two aspects.First,by increasing the overall quality of the workforce professional training and Agricultural science and technology,and other resources input.Second,by rational allocation of agricultural input resources to improve efficiency.As one of the main grain production areas in southwest China,Guizhou Province must effectively improve the agricultural productivity under certain conditions of existing resources and agricultural technologies,and it must be highly consistent with the development strategy of Guizhou Province.Also,there should be measures to strengthen the land circulation and promote the large-scale operation of agricultural production in the province.By using agricultural science and technology to increase agricultural production efficiencies and taking development path of intensive business model.This paper uses data envelopment analysis(DEA)method to analyze the agricultural investment efficiency and output efficiency in 12 major grain-producing areas,and neighboring Sichuan,Chongqing,Yunnan,and Guangxi Province,and also,the study measured the agricultural input and output efficiency of Guizhou province.Through horizontal and vertical comparisons,the study analyses the input-output index of Guizhou province which has not reached the relative efficiency,and points out the cause of the inefficiency.Based on the theory of input-output efficiency,the paper calculates the agricultural productivity of 16 provinces and cities on the basis of the data Envelopment Analysis(DEA)method,it is revealed that those influencing factors restrict the improvement of agricultural production efficiency in Guizhou Province and provide reference for the agricultural development path in Guizhou province.
