In recent years,the term of business model innovation has been frequently mentioned in the academic field and business field.Under the increasingly severe competition background,the unique business model that enterprises have can bring them sustainable competitive advantages,but how to specifically promote and get out of the road of business model innovation is a difficult problem for enterprises.The current discussion on the business model innovation p ath for enterprises is mainly based on case analysis,with the lack of combination of quantitative and qualitative research.This article focuses on the process of business model innovation for retail enterprise,using quantitative analysis of system dynam ics simulation and qualitative cases to explore the path of retail business model innovation.Firstly,it systematically reviews the related achievements in the field of business model innovation,propose the definition basis for the current business model,and summarize the current research status of innovation motivation of factors and paths.Secondly,based on the theoretical basis and the retail industry,it creates the basic framework of retail enterprise business model innovation based on driven-innovation and elements-innovation and path-innovation.Meanwhile,it clarifies the concept,characteristics and types,and further analyzes the driving force,factors,and paths of innovation.Combining with the theoretical basis,the definition of the retail business model innovation path is driven by the driving force of innovation,and retail companies are optimizing or innovating the key elements of the business model on the premise of value creation,including interactions among customers,companies,suppl iers and partners under the interaction of core elements.It creates value,deliver value,and ultimately bring company's revenue growth.The innovation path start from the value proposition-resources and capabilities-key processes to customer value.Then,the research method of system dynamics was introduced to divide the innovation path system into an overall system consisting of a power subsystem,a value network transmission subsystem,and a value acquisition subsystem which to create a system dynamic model of the retail business model innovation path to perform an analysis of the effectiveness of the innovation path.Finally,based on the practical background of the business model innovation of typical retail company Yi Xin Tang in Yunnan Province,through the quantitative analysis and case studies of enterprise data collection and simulation,the relevant theories proposed have been verified and improved.Discovering value propositions based on customer needs,online and offlin e integration capabilities,and partnership relationships are important key points in the retail business model innovation path in the future.Optimization and improvement of these three aspects can promote the development of future innovation paths.
